Sweeter than music
Sweetest sound I ever heard was a woman gagging on my sperm
Clanging and Banging!

I love how Mike and Rob are lifting and CT is just in the background shouting funny lines. I'd pay so much money to have CT hang in the background of my workouts and have him talk shit like this.

That guy with the sunglasses is fucking awesome
I Found Fido thats CT mufucking Fletcher, not that guy
+I Found Fido He should be a character in south park.
+I Found Fido That's Mr. Ct Fletcher are you Beast or Bitch
He's probably the gym owner. You don't want some dude distracting you while you exercise. You don't need that talk to get motivated. But this kid has no choice because the cameras are rolling.
IMNODOCTOR that's CT Fletcher. He and Mike may own the gym together. Not sure but either way, if you don't get motivated then you have no pulse!
Was my chest day today, tried the pyramid sets building up the weight etc then performing drop sets on the way down in each exercise, went until failure every time. Started with flat bench, then incline, then dips, moved to cable flies/crossovers to burn out the muscle then finished with push ups. Best chest day ever. That simple. Give this a try guys!
Yesss sir. But I will be starting with incline barbell press then everything else same order.
11:13 And that is why he look like he do and you look like you do.
Lol Classic C.T.
Years later and this shit is STILL A CLASSIC..whenever I hit a wall I come back and watch this!!!! Shit gets me HYPE!!!!!

ct fletcher da type of dude that can add 20punds to your max in just one workout.
mr patron
This isnt overtraining - obertraining actually is bad
This is overload; a very useful tool when it comes to progression
I stepped out my comfort zone and did this workout. I can honestly say that you have to be a beast mentally to do this. I love the feeling afterwards tho.....definitely like the way it makes my body feel. Mike Rashid said, you gotta experiment with different things to see how your body reacts. I agree. This is experiment has gotten me hooked.
.
9 years later, I'm watching this again. CT's comments are SO GOOD. Fucking cracks me up every time hahaha. STUPID PUMP, ASS CHEST, 45s SLAPPIN' TOGETHER. CT ETERNAL
Same bro. Remember this in 2013. This video must’ve spawned millions of ppl into getting absolutely fucking yoked out of their minds 😂
Who else still watching this? I love this video 💪🏾
Not sure If anyone else does this but, Ive been training for years now got the movements down, these vids are the ultimate motivation to kill it before going to the gym, they my pre-workout
every comment on this video = BRO science! just do what works for you OR do whatever the FUCK you want to do...
I believe there's a thin line between the books and bro science, because everyone is different and what the books or magazines say might not work for you. I rather take a little from the people with results.
Ahahahahhaha #hodgetwinsa
+CZcams User That mentality is how you get injured and/or shitty results.
Drinking just cola and eating chips will not help to recover.
Always got to come back to the OG jewels when I feel like stepping it up. Its like a coach telling you the fundamentals before a big game. Always motivation. Been watching this for years. Respect
I've been watching a lot of videos on workouts and the methods for training, the way to go about your training, how you focus on the goal you're trying to achieve - all over the last 6 months....This by far is one of the best, informative deconstructions of Beast mode i have seen. Who ever filmed, edited this along with CT and Mike, i really appreciate this video being made. Its changed my perspective on how i train - thank you.
I start off with one plate and pyramid up to an amazing one and a half plates bitches
I train weighted calesthenics. I have to say that your concepts are right on point and I use the ankle, vest, and other weight to achieve this same principle. Awesome job keep it up!
Been a minute since I watched OG CT, I remember Mike was younger. Hogs from the WS. I love the inspiration. 2024 checking in wittit wussup. Get y’all money it don’t stop.
This video changed everything 10 years ago 💪
Training with CT Flether and/or Mike Rashid is on my bucket list.
"If you are a mere mortal it is overtraining."
-CT fletcher
This is the first Mike Rashid video I have ever seen and now I'm a fan. Knowledge, experience and unbiased opinion. Oh and of course a damn road map on his chest. Boss.
Been a following you for atleast 2 years now. This is one of my favorite videos of all time! You the man Mike! Bring back this kind of style of video back! Its awesome
Coming back in 2019 for a good chest day motivation!
One of my Top 5 workout videos.
There will never be another CT Fletcher. Still coming back to this in 2024 years later
This is one of my favorite workout videos. I've probably watched this 20 times over the years
Mike has motivated me to get back in the gym indeed.
This is my creatine. I watch this video everytime I go in the gym and I just go at it like a beast. Very inspirational
this the mike rashid, and bodybuilding videos i miss. Bring these back in 2021.
love the videos Mike I've been training based off your over work method went from 147 to 187 in 4 months most amazing pumps I've ever felt
"aint no tellin how many sets im goin to do"
CT Fletcher did 0 sets that day.
Still a dope video! What a way to kick off 2020!
Man this vid was my ish... 2021 seeing where Mike has come and what Ct is saying about him in this video. It shows why he is so successful now!
Mike, you are one of the very few fitness CZcamsrs I like. You are the real deal man. No bullshit, just hard, hard work. Respect!
I probably watched this like 50 times, very motivational! I knew overtraining was a myth
Def not a myth.... It depends on the person
it depends on if you take steroids or not ;)
Over training is NOT a myth. This guy's is confusing over training with overloading a muscle. There is a difference. This guy in the video is correct, that training your muscle this way is how to build, it's just that it isn't over training--there is a difference.
Me too! I think it's a myth if you don't so know how to recover and refuel, and maybe if you aren't resting properly. But this entire thing made perfect sense to me.
I did this workout routine for months when it came out.
Excited for tomorrow’s workout, still best workout in 2019.
I really like how articulate you are when you explain things. I also really appreciate that you don't have to swear when explaining as well. Not a prude but I don't think people need to swear all the time, and it seems hand in hand when weightlifting videos.
The odds of finding out how important these videos of CT and Rashid are to me are small, but god damn this is what I needed as a cocky skinny kid 6 or 7 years ago. Many many many days with just these dudes in my headphones.
🙏
9:45 "da fuck is all that shit running across his chest god damnit" LOL!
did anyone else go to the gym after watching this?
lol
ahmadnajee me but i did not overtrain because that shit does not work for everybody
Justin Schwab funny haha
im fat and can overtrain. i guess it aint for everybody
tordean rivera nope is not
2019. and still rockin. Thanks for dropping your method of training. Keep it up!
I've been applying pyramid and drop set bench training. It works! I love it. Mike, thanks!
6:43 tribute to the great Muhammed Ali RIP CHAMP
deathoffaces He’s not dead tho.
2019 and CT Fletcher is still GOD!
I come back to this video annually! Mike Rashid Changed my approach on fitness with this video! SALUTE! 2021!!!
Im really glad you took time to make this vid serious i learned alot and saw how many mistakes i have been making. Will surly apply this to my sessions and see if i can see a change. Keep sharing mike
Mike rashid for the next blade movie with Snipes??!!
So he means over train in one day... not just training chest like this every day? If so then I'm all for it.
So I’m a fairly new subscriber and a newbie to fitness. I just recently started watching your series with Ms. Ford which I absolutely love but this here, This Mike is hardcore and completely raw. This video and the determination to be better than yourself unceasingly truly was inspirational. Bringing this mentality with me to the gym in the morning!!
Dude I love the bench press and training chest the most. This is by far the most informative video I've come across... Thanks!
Why the fuck do they call it overtraining instead of simply - training hard? Avoids confusion
The human body adapts to the environment it's in. Therefor burning out your muscles every fucking time will bring results. Of course u need to give your body what it needs to recover, but people don't understand that the harder you work, the better you'll look and feel.
+Frank Seymour So true, the harder I push the better i feel after the workout
but there are limits
+Brian Agyapong there are no limits #gosupersayain
+Michael Noble XD
+Brian Agyapong the limit is what you decide it to be. That's why you need a partner to push you beyond your limits.
2022 motivation! I purchased this program and it is definitely a killer. Works as well.
This video motivates the hell out of me each time I watch it !!!! MIKE RASHID is a strong ass man!
over-tren
Mike Rashid be the Nas of CZcams Bodybuilding.
With better beat selection
Thank you brother. Overtraining is the shit. I've been pushing hard at my gym but growing very slow. Watching the intensity of what yall do here is humbling. Humiliating really. Message received. Working to failure each time is the name of the game. Rawk on ;)
I had to come back and watch this for nostalgic purpose. This video got me back in the gym! Forever grateful
I'll break this shit down for you all. This is a great video and I agree with them about pushing yourself to your limits, BUT, don't even think about working out like this if you haven't been working out for atleast 2 years minimum. You're muscles need to be mature to be able to handle this type of training. Plus you have to have a good diet to be able to work out this rigorously. Overtraining is working out without giving that body part enough time to rest and recover. So don't go in the gym training chest 3 times a week expecting it to grow. Yes it might grow but it is pretty unlikely. You will just get terrible cramps in your chest. And you will lose strength too. So if you work out 3 hours on chest day and you have a proper diet, get enough sleep, and give it enough time to rest, then you will be fine. Only lazy people will say this is overtraining because they're too stupid and lazy to put in the work.
BlTERS Well I have a slightly different take on this, I think anybody at any level should try to push his/her self to the limits, but the thing is obviously as your muscles mature, you can handle a lot more volume, hell you need more just to get a good workout. The thing is everybody has different needs for what it takes to get a good workout, most beginners, and even a lot of advanced lifters can't do what Rashid and them did in this video, but I think it's beside the point, which is that everyone needs to really push the limits on every workout, the thing is at the end of the day, only you know whether you really pushed yourself during the workout. So I don't think Rashid is telling people to do this exact workout, he's just showing them how to push the limits. Because I agree, if you don't push the limits during a workout, your only gonna maintain what you have
Ok 3 d r u g d r ex ur u 34s43dherUru d WIr d steer ed 3ee34re
That's why you'll stay the same and never grow. Sometimes u gotta take the logic out of it and train relentless.
Yeah right try to get all the good shit for your self yeah do not go hard for gains ok bulls hit you have to work hard just don't do anything stupid
I was going to lift today but I took an arrow to the knee
I've noticed all the guys saying overtraining is bad also have the following: A how to count macros video, a protein shake recommendation, and pussy arms and chest
Why is this so true😂😂😂😂
Go ahead. Overtrain without taking anabolic steroids. See the results you get.
+FENTON haha in boot camp they overtrain you and you dont get the rest and protein shakes you like or any bullshit. Pro boxers train every day as do olympic athletes. so gtfo
Josh Ortiz I don't think you know what over training is. What Mike Rashid refers to as over training is actually overLOADING. He defines it pretty well. You won't get anywhere by lifting the same weight every time for the same amount of reps every time. You have to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Over training is hitting the same muscle group five days a week for months at a high intensity.
Boot camp only lasts a few weeks. They don't go on with it forever. The same with special forces like the Navy SEALs and the British SAS. Hell week is there to weed out those, who can't keep up.
Best chest day motivation of all time. Always watch it when i'm in need of it.
Totally awesome Guys, thanks for the inspiration and insight.
THANK YOU! Overtraining = GOOD...WORDS OF WISDOM TO MY EARS...TIME TO DRAGON BALL Z TRAIN :D
+ATARi Have u made good gains from overtraining? just checkin
***** YES! In fact I've increased a lot of my stats over all...Rashid means over training as far as pushing the limits...clearly your body needs rest, but you can over train (THE RIGHT WAY)
Ahh indeed. I have been working out for roughly 5 years. I have gotten it to where I workout 3 days a week, and do strength training. My gains have gone up tremendously since then, since prior i was working out around 6-7 days a week. Rest is definitely as important as training in general as ive noticed. but right on man
+ATARi You've never actually overtrained
+Michael John if u workout 3 times a week u are far from over training,4 days rest a week is alot
its not overtraining, it's called training harder! your training harder than you're used to so it's called training harder, there are people that train hard then and when training hard isn't enough you can train harder, over training is a type of training where you go beyond training harder and you don't give time for your muscle to rest and recuperate which is actually non-beneficial don't confuse people or they might have some serious injuries. training your biceps 5 times a week is over training, which will cause injuries, training the same muscle and not giving it time to rest is overtraining, what you're doing is not over training, its called failure training and that's training harder.
Very helpful thank you very much. keep up the awesome videos!!!
Always coming back...legendary video 🥶🥶
This is exactly how I train every muscle not just chest and I've gotten insane results in a short period of time he's absolutely right when he says it forces your muscle to grow. I go to failure always and get a pump like no other I probably do 200 reps everytime I do chest
One of my shoulder workouts this week had a total of 350 reps. and I did chest the next 2 days after that today and yesterday.
yezzir, did back today, 50 sets 11 exercises and everything to failure or forced reps. how u grow baby
This isn't overtraining. Just a hard workout. Overtraining would be to do this workout more than once a week.
*A day
@@CJSelfmade_25 more than once a day?
Stfu. Over working is training to over stress or overtrain. He's telling people to do it constantly
@@drummerkrisp ... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I watch this multiple times since this video came out. Great motivation
Im from South Africa, Ive tried what you do in your videos and it works, never looked back after seeing what you do and did it myself.
This shit changed my life of over training everything
This is my chest workout.
Bench press
Dumbell press
Dumbell flies
Cable flies
Push ups till fail
Interesting, here is a cake recipe i use
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). In a medium bowl, mix together the crushed gingersnap cookies, pecans, and butter. Press into the bottom, and about 1 inch up the sides of a 9 inch springform pan. Bake crust 10 minutes in the preheated oven. Set aside to cool.
In a medium bowl, mix together the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar, and vanilla just until smooth. Mix in eggs one at a time, blending well after each. Set aside 1 cup of the mixture. Blend 1/4 cup sugar, pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg into the remaining mixture.
Spread the pumpkin flavored batter into the crust, and drop the plain batter by spoonfuls onto the top. Swirl with a knife to create a marbled effect.
Bake 55 minutes in the preheated oven, or until filling is set. Run a knife around the edge of the pan. Allow to cool before removing pan rim. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
Mögelkryddan G youre fucking stupid as shit you dumas, why would you only use 1/2 cup of sugar, and you mix and stir twice
YOU"RE BOTH WRONG! A woman should be baking it.
Blahfsd blah there's always that dumbass of an idiot which can't tell apart a joke . idiot

Videos like these got me tapped in when I was in college
Thank you! This is excellent information! Awesome way to brake plateaus.
Rashid sounding like RZA.. MuscleStyle from the Abbott
pssh, maaaan this video has me re-thinking my entire routine.
im thinking i may start strength training 4 sets til failure now.
Still come to this video in 2022. Great motivation 🙌🏾💯
I learned so much more about chest day in 1 video then the past 2 years training .... good video bro , you got people like me looking up to ya fam
Listen CT is natural we all know hes been training for 30+ years. But for those of you watching this routine and thinking its going to work for you get it out of your head now! Mike Rashid like it or not uses steroids. Hes an IFBB competitor and if you have any knowledge in body building you can tell by his stomach, vascularity, and shoulders. So people just starting out just do a normal routine, eat well, and sleep, and youll be on your way
THANKS FOR BEING REAL, most people on youtube are clueless on the facts of the human body because of BS people posting lies. There are more big ripped complete lifters (like Rashid) out there on riods than that are not on roids.
"Let me go get my shit out the closet so I can do pushups" HAHA. Man, this guy is motivating me, he really is.
This is still my favorite chest work out video of all time!
Year 2018 much motivation & knowledge in this video, it will never get it old for me!
