a bookish city with zero real estate to match. doesnt make any sense, but now my brain refuses to compute radiators and windowsills as anything BUT built-in book shelves 😂
I was cracking up when you looked at that one book and said, “ I’m not gonna read this” 😂I know that was super exhausting but also refreshing, and highly productive. It turned out so nice and aesthetically pleasing. 😍 I’m the same way regarding keeping books you really love and/or plan to re-read. The rest can gooo!
Had to be real with myself for a sec 😂 And totally! I think I lost the plot there for a beay and was just so excited about book buying. Which is fine, we've collectively been through a lot! A lil book splurgin' never hurt anyone 😂 But im excited to be more intentional in the future for sureee

The way this vlog made me wanna run to my shelves and reorganize them😂 I love how you have collections by author and it inspires me to go deeper into authors’ backlists & catalogs!! I also totally feel what you said about saying yes to a lot of books in the early days of book social media world and now honing in on what my actual tastes are… and Valerie Kaur’s book is one of those in the former that I never got to lol
Delving into author's bibliographies has been my goal for so long! It sounds like it would feel like SUCH an accomplishment! And yeah! I mean it was fun and new and I dont blame us for that excitment. But its also really nice to know that everything we say yes to now are like genuine, authentic yeses. Hahahaha it seemed so well-intentioned, that book! Let me know if you ever make your way to it!
Thank you so much for this! 🧹📚 This was so REAL and relatable!! Like seriously! I'm moving but just still can't afford to upgrade to another place with more space especially with rent and everything else being high right now. So I'm just trying to keep my place as clean and organized as possible with my books being stacked as nicely in the corner of my place and the rest on my dresser or nightstand. The rest I have are stored safely in my plastic storage bins beneath my bed and in my closet 😂

Our book taste is somewhat the same. However, yours may be a bit more refined than mine. You are now one of my favorite book tube channels. I'm scared to count my books. Your books were so neat it didn't look like 400+ before the count. So, I'm nervous to know how many I have on my shelves and around my house. Happy reading! Maybe, we can do a buddy read.

It really was a big wakeup call, but sometimes a nice lil reframe will have you thinking about it with excitement (look at all the books I have readily available!) And definitely! That would be fun!

Its an impossible task! Between you and me, I ended up chaning my mind on a few books I initially unhauled but shh don't tell anyone 😂 but overall getting rid of tons was such a breath of fresh air! Gooooood luck on your unhaul adventures! Wishing you an easier time than I had 😂

@@katsfieldnotes oh yay! Haha yess also read Kingdom Cons and also a great read. Def read them in Spanish if you can since the Mexican dialect doesn’t translate as authentically in the English translations. I think Kingdom Cons was more challenging but very clever. Now I need to pick up the Transmigration of Bodies asap!
