The story of Lemondogs is one of the most interesting stories in League of Legends history. Going from academy/challenger to worlds in a year is impressive. But what might be more interesting is the story of their top laner - Zorozero. I hope you enjoy this esports documentary.

From the way he seemed to not really care about publicity, he seemed more in it for fame and money. So, when he got full of both and was doing good, he probably just wanted to move on. This is just a theory but its the best I can figure from how he was described.

It still isn't. Let's face reality. In the future maybe, and I hope so, but as of now, no. Not everyone is a Faker, a Bjerg, an Uzi, a Caps for you to not worry about your future anymore. Yeah he made a name for himself but who knows what the future would hold, esports is something so volatile as of now. Also, maybe it's what he really wanted. Not every one is in it for the money you know. And the term "He's living real life" is an appropriate comment, no one can stay pro forever after all. Let's be happy for the guy.

@@fightme4136 You don't have to be Faker, Bjerg, Uzi, Caps or xPeke to have a profesional career playing videogames (eSports). Sure it's not as fleshed out as many other sports leagues but it is followed by more people than many others. There are university sponsorships, training schools, clubs that groom their players... Anything that other "traditional sports" have.
My point is that it's neither as impossible nor as far off as you make it sound.... Plenty of low level but profesional players... Just like football, "soccer", tennis or golf.

many soldiers and people from the military believe they will do noble and necessary things for their country, but in reality they will most probably be only pawns (regardless of rank) to do the dirty work for the ruthless psychopaths that own the armies and become a threat to innocent civilians. This is true for the military from the US, Britain, France and some more countries. Let's not forget what they did on Syria as of recent. Not only that, but the military at least serves to each country's ruling class to stay in power willing to commit genocide if they "must". Add chemtrail spraying all around the globe (unacceptable) and many kinds of power abusal during all of history, supression of the insurgents, the list goes on... US Democracy is nothing like the Democracy Plato wrote about, so please do some research about the institution you are planning to stay for years, it's a big deal and you (like most of the veterans) could regret it a lot.

Well, we have to remember what these young pro's are giving up for this career. Sure, they get and experience alot, but there are also alot of things they cant do that their friends at home might do. And while it may not matter, but the pay in his time wasnt something crazy, unless you were they big streamers! Great video my mate.

As a former Danish Soldier turned professional League caster, i am very split, because on one hand, he had imense talent, and could to this day still be one of the best toplaners if he continued, but on the other, a career in the danish military can be very attractive and lucrative. This story hit so hard, great job Gbay

Gbay , could you explain why they decided to stop with qualifications system for LCS. I loved it back in the days to see a LCS team fight viciously for keeping there spot . Now a days it feels like time waste to watch the lower half of teams playing against each other . We had soo much Storys from teams fighting there way up or teams loosing there spot. It was emotional and beautiful ....
Can't stop dreaming about the past days while I still loved the game 100%. So probably just nostalgia talking .

Looks like you aint gettin answered soon so I will do you a favor. There are 2 big reasons why relegation was abolished atleast in NA:
      1. Franchising. Well I guess you already knew what this is so I will leave it right here. If you dont then just google the word and the answer is pretty clear.
      2. C9 Challenger. It is a known story in League that there was this one insane team made of washed up LCS pros who were constantly stomping other Challenger teams and just took the promotion spot.... Only to sell it to the highest bidder and goes back to the Challenger circuit next split to repeat the same thing. After 3~4 splits of this Riot realised that these clowns were fkin destroying their promotion system and the Challenger circuit is useless as there were no teams capable of stopping them. So they pulled the trigger and the Academy system was born to replace the Challenger circuit.
And so we arrived at the LCS today. No need to thank for the explaination just press like :))

@@gaoaibai6243 thats the same Problem in non esport. NOone cares it. ANd you could ez create a league for academy teams and for challenger teams. Like in NA. Ye they habe franchising but they have a academy league and multiple other college leagues. In china there is a secon league. the second argument is bs. and it didnt happen often. c9/h2k, mfs, fnatic, ..... dont remember much more. When i thinking about promotion i think about g2, origin, copenhagen wolves, roccat, tdk, enemy esports, renegades......
