Opened a couple boxes yesterday, agree with you that the paper packs are great and I never want them to go back. Can't get enough of the wizard card art, hopefully the next set will include another adult wizard!
Niiiiice, I got 2 cold foils in a box I opened today along with two foild majestics. Glad I got this set and can't wait to play with my new cards!!
I bought my first FAB cards, and It was a Everfest box. On my second booster pack, got a Grandeur of Valahai. I had no idea what was that, but my friends made sure I was made aware of how rare that cards is. So needless to say that I'm hooked now. And on the rest of the box, besides all the majestics, got a Thunder Quake foil extended art and a cold foil Talisman of Warfare
The extended art earthlore bounty gives me goosebumps everytime I see it

My experience with the new set says 9 out of 10. Some boxes are clearly better than others, but they all have a great amount of variety.
I was lucky enough to pull a Grandeur of Valahai and cold foil Bravo star of the show in my first box!.
I really like how they are including extended art cards now, and that they are averaging 1 per box.
When I picked up my case I couldn't believe how small the box was. The booster boxes are half the height of previous sets.
Oath of Steel and Helm of Sharp Aye are two of my fav cards so far from Everfest.
And am i way more excited to see box openings from this set just because of the carnival aesthitic ? Obviously :3

This set has 45 majestics vs 27 in CRU. The carnival slot makes you have one more chance at a majestic. All in all even if you are getting 2/3 more majestics per box vs CRU, each individual majestic is rarer in frequency due to the sheer amount of them in EVR (66% more Ms than in CRU). I have seen 13 box openings: all of them except one had exactly 1 extended art (one had none).
I'm almost as excited to build Data Doll as I am to tweak Azalea.
I also love to Tinker with Builds. Supplemental sets are the best!

9 Majestics total in my box. One of which being a cold foil Skull Crushers. Also Pulled an extended cold foil Arcane Lantern. Definitely a cool set.

I’m just curious…. But didn’t the term spice show up when you were adding odd and kind of off meta cards to mtg decks? (Like spices for foods, or flavorings for context)

pyroglyphic protection looks like a good sideboard card against otk Viserai
Unfortunately that deck sends all arcane damage in groups of one, so Protection doesn't work very well in that respect!
I just opened a case and NO JOKE, I got an Arcanite Skullcap and the NEXT PACK was a Silver Palms. I wish I was recording a video because I wouldn't believe it if it didn't happen to me.

Just finished my 1st box and I opened 3 cold foils including Bravo. Are these numbers common?
I think you got a really good box!! I have only opened one cold foil per box so far. Though I have only opened two boxes.
1 rare and 2 majestics cold foils. Probably the best box I've ever opened
I just realized the Bravo cold foil is double sided. The back is absurdly beautiful, no border, no text, no intellect or health, just full art with his name and class at the bottom
I'm still curious how the paper boosters will hold up after years on a shelf
Only time will tell!
I would imagine that if you put it in an acrylic case like other boosters they'd be just fine.

It is supposed to exist but I haven't heard any news on when it will be available

Flesh and Blood Everfest 1st edition. Vs. Unlimited. What's the difference? Which one is better?
Well we don't know anything about unlimited Everfest, and I always prefer 1st edition because I love cold foils!

@@JamesfromtheAlamoCity they do not keep cold foils in unlimited, and they also don't add extended arts to unlimited. If you want the spicy pulls then you go for 1st Ed!

Cool set but I think there is very very little everfest themed art and the carnival slot doesn’t scream “carnival” to me. The pack and box art is so all in committed vs the actual cards you pull. (In my opinion)
I think that's a valid point, and I was hoping for even more Carnival themed cards! That being said, I can understand the draw of wanting to keep the class cards faithful to their aesthetics!
