- While I'm sure most sneaker enthusiasts would agree that the Air Jordan 7 is a dope sneaker, It's not the first Jordan silhouette that comes to mind. For some reason the Air Jordan 7 still remains to be an underrated sneaker. At least our opinion. It was the first TRUE Jordan. sneaker with little to no Nike branding on it. Not even a visible Air Unit. In this video we take a closer look at the history of the Air Jordan 7 in all its glory.

Cardinal 7s are my favorites. The 2011 pair back in HS was one of the first pair of sneakers I remember getting up early to go grab . Classic OG colorway , very underrated shoe though smh.🔥

Awesome! Next to the 3 and the 5, the j7 is my favourite silhouette.
The playoffs/charcoal (raptor) is my favourite OG colourway. The citrus is my favourite none OG colourway.
The comfort is outrageously good for a Jordan retro. That full foot air bladder that sits just under the midsole makes all the difference.
Imo it's the best jordan retro to ball in. It's super lightweight for a "hightop".

My first ever pair of retros were the Orion 7s and i fell in love with them, my pops got me them for my birthday when i was 13 and now years later its still my go to Jordan and i bought another pair along with the Reflections back in 2018 at a Footlocker😭🍻

The Citrus 7 is my personal grail. Unfortunately it’s getting pushed back to August, but it’s a dope color way and I’m looking forward to getting my hands on it
Style and true comfort, one of the few Jordans that you can actually wear all day with no fatigue. Had the Bordeaux 7's in 92' and I just bought the 2015 retro last year. One of my favorite of all time!

I had the charcoal 7s in 92. They were/are my favorite. My older cousin had the fire red 5s in 90 and I was so jealous, but I feel like I one upped him with the charcoals haha. I hope they reissue them with the same quality and textured. I saw the 2012 version and they don't have the same quality

They came out when I was about 13 or 14 and being the biggest Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls fan. I didn’t really like the yellow and green and purple mixed in with Chicago Bulls colors. But as I got older, I really started to dig them. Right now I don’t know if they’re the greatest or the most underrated Jordans of all time, but they sure are awesome and I love them.
When i was 7 I was on an overnight bus ride through some states in Australia. I asked mum, "can i go hang out with the kids at the back of the bus?" they were probably in their early 20's. She said yeah no worries. All i remember is them showing me their different shoes. One of them had Jordan 6's and said, "make sure you ask santa for some Nike Jordans!" That christmas I got some raptor 7's. One of the best memories of my life.

I love the 7s their like one of my Top favorite retro Jordan Silhouette. And it’s a shame people sleep on them, just how everyone passed up on the Flint 7s this year.
Those Flint 7s are one of the more underrated releases of the year
A played a lot of games in some French Blues from '02. Great on court shoe, lightweight and form fitting.
I just copped the PSG 7 under $150 in a legit retail store (Titan 22) in the Philippines. Purchase of the month! 🏆 Dope vid btw!

I really like the 7, good memories because my friend had a pair and it's really the first I got to see up close as I went to a very small rural school. We had one kid the year before who had the VI and I used to stare at them in class at school every day. By "them" I mean the shoes sneakers!
We didn't have labels for this psychosis back then like we do now. They call us "sneakerheads."
They really need to do more of these with mesh. Probably would look good on the 6 and definitely feel good on the 8!
My favorite 7 is the French Blue I think the 7s in particular look great in white & blue and are much slimmer & trimmer than 6s & 8s so I also prefer the Puffier leather to the nubuck to offset that slightly.

An extremely underrated and undervalued shoe in the Jordan line. Great video… Not to be a stickler, but since we’re talking ‘history’, the shoes commonly referred to as “Raptors” weren’t called that in 1992. The original colorway was one of the following: “the Playoff 7s,” “Black and Red Jordans” or “the Charcoals”, NOT the Raptors. These were the shoes I wore in 7th grade for our basketball season…and they were everything! I have to have them if/when they come out in 2022.

I had a pair of 7s when I was 11-12 that looked like the Citrus but not the actual colorway. Just copped a pair of White Cardinal 7s last month.

Had the white Barcelona when I was a teen back in the day. Cant say they were too comfy and still I prefer the look of the older ones like 3s and 4s with the visible air.
