Can you analyze Mozart sonata number 16 in C, k. 545? There’s a crap load of arpeggios in that one and I’m curious how he comes up with those. Also, what is it called when he does this like “trill” between two keys? It’s such a smooth and interesting piece.

can you explain the difference between arpeggios and ostinatos, are they the same thing? i know ostinatos are a repeating pattern, but so are arps, have a nice day

Wow, what an incredible tutorial! 🎹 I've been struggling with arpeggios, and your breakdown of the three levels is so helpful. Starting with Level 1, I could really feel the emphasis on hand position and smooth playing. Moving on to Level 2, the tips on mastering transitions and wrist relaxation made a huge difference in my practice.
Level 3 was a game-changer for me! Tackling four-note broken chord arpeggios not only enhanced my finger independence but also added a whole new dimension to my piano performance. Your guidance has truly transformed the way I approach arpeggio practice.
Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and taking us on this musical journey. Your passion for teaching shines through, and it's evident that you understand the struggles beginners face. I'm genuinely grateful for the valuable insights you've provided. Looking forward to more lessons and challenges on your channel! 🎶✨

Hello there! First of all, thanks for your effort on teaching us! =) I saw you recommend “the complete book of scales, chords, arpeggios & cadences”. I’d like to suggest a “how to” to the book - directions on how to study it. I’m pretty sure I’m doing wrong in just going page after page playing the notes written, in some robotic way 😅. Hope to hear from you in that subject. Cheers from Brazil

    Good afternoon Kathy,
Love the lesson, Arpeggios sound beautiful and smooth.
Can’t play the piano for awhile.
A spider decided she didn’t like my playing so, she decided to bite my right pinky finger while I was taking a nap.
My hand swelled up to be a size of a softball.
In practicing, I would be just pounding on the keyboard like a three year old, couldn’t move my fingers to well but at least my wrist is relax. 😂
I will be out of commission for awhile.
I can only pretend playing but I will still enjoy follow your video.
(Love the melted butter on the corn image. Yummy)😂😂😂
Take Care and have a blessed week.
    🙏🙏🙏

      Thanks Kathy,
It is going to be a long road to recovery. ❤️‍🩹
The poison will be hard to get it out of my system.
      (Old age)
So far it has shown very little progress. “Hiccup!”
been drinking a lot of beer to deaden the pain. “Hiccup!”🍺🍺🍺🍺
I will be keeping one eye on you and the other on my beer.
And don’t you be pointing your finger at me and give me that dirty look.
      It’s makes me feel guilty.
      🙄🙄🙄🤣
Take Care and be Safe and have a blessed day.

I hate to be a pest, grrl. But what about the left hand? I'm left handed, so I'm very aware of the topic. I started piano 50 years ago and got to the level of intermediate beginner. Back then you couldn't grab and run with a piano like you could with a guitar, a violin, a saxophone or even a tuba. Today it's different and I've gotten a Roland FP-30X. Roland is the full-feature entry level keyboard with far and away the best acoustic piano emulation. My efforts are directed at first restoring the two-hand coordination I had back then.
