I don't know why lich bane should be a bad item to build early. In some matchups it is even worth to go first item. Its true that it is a worse divine but if u go full ap it is a good first item option.

nashors is dealing more dps. Lich bane has a better burst. Lich bane is also performing better with your base combo without ult.

@@MystraDemon hmmmm I still think lich is objectively worse early game considering it has less AP and it depends on AP to scale. And good Katarina players will also do a lot of autos in their combo and nashors help with that too

You can fix that with that rune from the domination tree that gives item haste(I forgot the name). That will allow you to activate the sheen proc 4 times

@@kikyotv7128 it's been there since the item update back in pre-season 11, patch 10.23, since they removed gunblade, she would've been more that dead, so they added on-hit on passive, E and R to compensate the loss of her core item.

@@phantoist Thank you for the detailed explanation. I had no idea on that change since I haven't played League since way back season 3, she used to be my main. I still watch league streams every now and then just for the nostalgia since I also play it's mobile version wildrift, kata in wr doesn't have that on-hit effect.

Ad as a stat isnt very good on kata and thats all ravenous gives is aton of ad. If you look at alot of the ad items katarina build they always give something else other then the ad like onhit effects like bork or sunderer or some tankiness like deaths dance. And in some cases both like wits end wich gives on hit and a tank stat she almost never builds these items for ad because her ad scaling are low on all of her abilities except her ultimate and even then you need attack speed for it to be a high ad scaling.
