AD kata wins every time if he attscks at the same second ap attacks. You can see that as kata attacks like 1 sec later (after ap kata has e - q) and still nearly dies.
AP is better early because you can deal more damage with your Q and the passive deals more damage with AP build AD kata is better in terms of damage and utility at the cost of a hellish laning phase
actually ap is horrible early game since you don't have auto atk dmg, just your skills and passive, while ad has the better lane phase cause you have your skill dmg and also a lot of basic atk dmg
@@metanol6151 you don't get that much auto against champion with reliable cc and generally better players, they know how spacing work and you won't get kill pressure in mid lane and roaming with ad kata felt much worse than ap if the enemy team also have cc Ap is just safer and ad is high risk mid reward

I dont think it surprises any1 that AD is better. AD items have always been so much more OP compared to AP items
