19:12 Felt like it was a scary game because the bots just went in the jungle to roam for no reason. I didn’t even know they can go in jg. It was such a funny and great video to watch. Great work Poly and keep making great contents.
Late to comment. Speaking as a game dev, the AI probably took the shortest route to the minions, and the pathing took them through the jungle. Some other triggers I can think of:
1. 19:14, Darius took the shortest path towards the minion wave.
2. 19:26, Soraka bot probably walked through river because it was triggered to go help its teammates (as you can see from the minimap, Soraka bot was walking towards to 2 dead teammates at top lane), but since the teammates died, there were no new commands to Soraka bot, it just continued its path.
3. 19:30, Poly probably got spotted by Taric bot while it was on its way to help Annie bot.
4. 19:33, Soraka bot was on its way to help Warwick bot since it was low on health.
There's probably a lot of different triggers that will fire off at different timings to cause the AI to behave a certain way.
Maybe Riot wants to simulate bots checking nearby jungle occasionally, just like a real player would do after clearing a wave, and pushing into enemy territory.
The clip at the very end of WW bot walking through jgl, dead ass turning to face you hiding in the bush, and using fear and just standing there facing you sent me so hard 💀 He couldn't have seen you, but he fucking KNEW
The fact that you spent 42 hours on this is honestly hilarious and yet really endearing. Though I'm surprised that Warwick's blood scent didn't cause him or his teammates to go after your location.
ww's w(lmao) just leaves a trail, it doesn't really give vision, and only he can see it. Though i wouldn't be surprised if riot found a way to fk it up xD
@@saul2416 in fact ww W doesn't apply blood trail until you are seen with less than 50% HP or whatever % it is. so as long as you stay out of vision, even if you walk around with 10% Hp you won't have a blood trail on you.
@@Shadameyou do have a trail on you, Warwick just has to follow the trail with his camera all the way until he finds where he can then track you until you get above half health
@@ManiacFormulaeven if you are below 50% hp, as long as you haven’t been in vision in awhile, you won’t be tracked.
Say you are full clearing jungle and drop below 50%, you will have the mark above your head, but Warwick will not see a trail until you are in vision at least once.
@@dingas5632 this isn't true. you can see the enemy jungler in the early game during their clear just having w if they are under 50%, without them being seen once.

Yeah the point is to net beeing seen and they see the neeko transformation so the actual player. The tourrest would be critical but its not the actual player just an ability and forcing even everyone afk would be ok since thats allowed
i'm assuming the reason ww bot acts so weird is cause it can detect you with its passive, but not the precise location so he just sits there and contemplates

I really liked this challange, congratz for doing it!
A new challenge idea could be "Untouchable": You have to win a 1v5 match vs intermediate bots, while your dmg taken stays at 0.
If you find it easy to do or what a more challenging version of it you can also try to do it without dmging enemy champions and turrets.
Technically he did that this game...aside from the jungle camps, I guess

The thing I love about your challenges is how honest you are with resets (you even reset when it's iffy), and how determined you are to keep going despite how much pain you're in. You don't settle for just 'good enough' and that's what makes your videos beautiful

I invented a few challenges for me and my bro vs bots, and I had basically banned WW because sometimes he afked in base. Glad you found out how that happens!
There is also sometimes a bug with Taric just... standing there in the middle of fights. No idea why he does that.
I also do that, and sometimes do it solo. Though its been a while. I hypothesise Taric does that because he's trying to select a target in range for his W, but there isn't anyone nearby so he keeps trying and is stuck in a loop. I haven't tested that however. I believe Renekton can also afk. I know that there is at least 1 other bot that can afk with Warwick, and I think it was Renekton.

sometimes i play coop vs bots to try full as builds and he just doesn't show up again sometimes. Never really got him to afk in customs tho

14:10 Another bot that behaves randomly is Renekton. For some reasons, sometimes it will decide to always run to a specific spot in a lane and stay there, for the rest of the game. Sometimes it goes afk aswell.
16:45 You can make bots go afk really easily; Riot implemented a "fair afks" policy which makes one bot go afk for each person that is disconnected in your team. However sometimes (often), if the person in your team reconnects, the corresponding bot remains afk in base. It wasn't the case before, but it broke like 5 or 6 years ago and Riot never fixed it.
Note that if all people in a CoopVsAi go afk, the game gets deleted (like when you reset the custom by leaving), so if you're alone you can't do it.
So another way to cheese the game without being seen it to queue as 5, have 4 people leave the game, and that leaves only 1 bot against 1 player, making things a lot easier.
i did that.
there was a bug with yumi back when she came out, every time you would use her E while the other champion would go back to fountain, you could return as well but you lose your modle meaning, no one could see you, neither you team nor your enemies
it was patched the next day

Something I do quite often when I want to either check my ping (I have horrible internet) or as a warmup before ranked is that I play a custom game with 5 intermediate champions and just try to 1v5 with whatever champion I want to play. And from that experience I knew immediately how difficult this would be... Versing 5 very strong minions that always act in sync and will never outright miss a skillshot is surprisingly difficult, especially against champs with ults like ashe and leona.
While your not wrong as soon as you understand how the bots work you can abuse the fact they are bots and just scale super early and remove the challenge
@@venumus1 Really depends on the champion you're playing, and the bot you're playing into. Some of the intermediate bots play very safe early, and they all have flash/ghost/heal
If you don't scale fast they will run it down one lane and any targeted CC will lead to your death and they can potentially finish the game in 1 death timer.
I imagine if you wanted you could jungle to 6 then gank top/bot and get a double kill, push for an inhib with rift herald, become unkillable and just win the game but that's not really the point of playing bot games- unless you're doing a challenge like not being seen
@@Chizypuff you can also use vision to force them to pull back or rotate and break there script bush dodging and pick them off, like if u walk around between t1 and t2 towers and let yourself get spotted by the tower they will only rotate while your in vision to a certain extent. its 100 cheesing but if you know how to abuse the bots to break them its kinda hard not, like you can just walk up to most bots while oom and unless its 2v1 they will just retreat and loss cs/xp

Pick ww bot for a teamate, somehow figure out how to force him to recall together with you at lvl 1, and then hope to god ur minions lose, im betting anivia would mess with his code if you figure something out with walls, other than than i dont think its possible

Tips On Custom Bot - I learned this while practicing 1v5 against bots.
1.)Lane Defense Strategy:
When it comes to defending the two primary lanes, such as top and mid, it's vital to prioritize tower protection. In scenarios where the enemy pushes aggressively in the bottom lane, be aware that bots tend to pathfind there.
2.)Intermediate Bot All-Ins:
Facing intermediate-level bots, anticipate their tendency to engage aggressively in all-ins. This means they will commit heavily to kill you.
3.)Bots Health
When bots reach low health, they instinctively seek to recall for recovery. A effective strategy is to either drive them out of the lane or capitalize on their vulnerability, as they tend not to fight back when their health is low.
4.)Secure First Blood
If you're playing a melee champion in mid lane against a ranged champion like Caitlyn, attempting to follow her into the bush near the Baron pit is a high-risk, high-reward strategy. There's a significant chance that you might secure first blood, you can always use this to secure kill in mid lane.
5.) Two Minions Under The Tower
When there are only two remaining minions under the tower, they won't attack it anymore. Instead, they will wait for another minion wave to arrive before pushing.
6.) When they're in the sideline and the only remaining tower is the inhibitor turret, for example, in the bot lane, you can try to force a tower dive by positioning yourself near the jungle entrance. Make sure to have your flash ready when you do this because they may try to all-in you. This can also work in the mid lane, but it's harder to execute.

Got another few challenge suggestions for you for the future...
- Since poor Neeko, who did nothing wrong, was banned from this one, a challenge with only her seems in order. Can you win 1v5 without ever breaking a disguise? Could be made more or less challenging depending on what you disguise as too, I imagine. (Can Scuttlecrab still attack?)
- Yuumi but you're not allowed to unattach from teammates (intentionally), how few teammates can you still win with? Bonus points if it's Intermediate enemies and Beginner allies. (I feel like this is either too easy, too difficult, or just incredibly boring, but maybe it's just right.)
- I feel like "AFK until the first inhib is down" has probably been done a bunch already in a ton of different modes, but maybe someone can think of a good challenge to toss on top of that to make it a bit more interesting...
