Best Weather Apps (2024)

Unpredictable weather can disrupt your outdoor plans, but having the right weather app can change all that. After DarkSky became unavailable, it took me quite some time to find the best free weather apps to take its place. I look to Windy and MSN Weather for accurate and detailed forecasts. Plus, look no further than ‪@RyanHallYall‬ for in-depth weather analysis.

Thanks for the suggestion! I've heard good things about MyRadar from others, but I haven't personally used it yet. I've always relied on MSN Weather and Windy, which I consider to be the best free options. But I'm always open to checking out new apps - I'll have to give MyRadar a look and see how it compares!

That's unfortunate. As far as I know, the old DarkSky app is essentially what's embedded in the native Apple weather app. Give it a try and see how well it works for you.

I appreciate the philosophical take, but I'm not sure my eyes are quite as reliable as the ol' Doppler radar! 😅 I mean, unless you've got some sort of built-in barometric pressure sensor I don't know about? 🌡️👀 In that case, forget the apps - I'm sticking with you for all my weather predictions from now on! 🌦️🔮😂

I think you're trolling me... 😆 those MSN maps have been upgraded a little bit since I recorded this video, but they are still bad.
