This only makes sense if they planned the future from the start, the way Aaron thinks of being gay, it's beyond just internalised homophobia. While I hate the Gordon story so much, it made this make sense. Without it, it doesn't make much sense to me. Whatever they thought about writting this, they still made be love Aaron, but if I had watched this first, I would hate him.

@@kindamelody3282 I don't know alot about Matty, So I can't say I understand. But even though I'm a tomboy myself, I get what you meant and with the writers of Emmerdale it was probably a good story.
