Ive been told to use perfumers alcohol and mix that with my fragrance oil, im planning on making multi use room spray. Ideally dont want it to stain as it could be used in a car. Is perfumers alcohol the best option in terms of longevity or what would you suggest?
For making a water soluble fragrance, when I use DPG, the fragrance doesn't mix well with water and is cloud. But when I use polysorbate, I get a clear solution with water but the water solution is sticky and when shaked, a dense froth appears. How can I resolve it to make a clear, non sticky solution.
what is the difference between polysorbate 20 and surfonic n120, and is surfonic n120 the same as tergitol np10 (nonyphenol ethoxylate mole10) ?, I hope you can answer my questions and I am thankful from the philippines.

Yeah, they are two different bases. Diffuser bases are designed to help the fragrance diffuse into the air. We do not recommend cutting an air freshener with a diffuser base.

These fragrances are obv milder than the essential oils right, since room sprays with considerably less EO conc in water smells pretty strong

That all depends on what you are trying to do! You also can find resources online for increasing duration for your air freshener.

Hi, is it possible to use DPG for air freshner in aerosol can an omit the alcohol?
We don't recommend using DPG, since it is too thick of a liquid.

Can u change the percentage lik maybe 60% 40%..... So there is more fragrance
You just have to make sure it's safe within the IFRA guidelines.
