I'm Australian, and went to London a few years ago as part of a big Euro-trip. Hearing random people's kids speaking in British accents was the cutest thing ever 🥰🥰

This makes me feel so comforted because that's what I want to do rather than bring a child into this world myself (lots of medical and mental health reasons, don't want to pass on certain things plus I believe there are plenty of kids in the world deserving of love and want to be a part of that). Bless your adoptive fam, I hope to be like them some day ❤

My biological mother only ever cared about herself, to the point that she wouldn't feed me because she wanted to do her makeup, and you saying that you genuinely want to bring a child into this world makes me so happy! :)

The newborn baby smell triggers the same part of the brain as hunger, which is how come there's so many phrases like "so cute I'm going to eat you up". Another fun fact, wanting to pinch baby cheeks or thighs displays similarly as a 'tears of joy' where there's a negative emotion (pinching & crying) along with a positive one (baby & joy). It's a sign of great emotional balance in the person.

I have some of the best stories of what kids say and do from being a preschool teacher for 10+ years. Three year olds are hilarious and vicious 😂
I was adopted as a newborn, love to hear people supporting adoption. There's so many kids in need of homes and mothers not being able to take care of a new baby. Adoption is a long process, but it really makes a world of difference. People need to talk about it more. I know there are so many broken and/or abusive homes and it makes me think of all the nice families that would've happily raised that child!

How I know I'm not made for fatherhood: I once convinced my 7 year old nephew that my apartment's sprinkler heads were a ghost deterrent system. He quickly realized his home didn't have any, got scared to leave, so I had to constantly remind him I was joking. Good times lol

For anyone curious, the reason some of us want to "eat" babies and other cute things is because of a phenomenon called "cute aggression." Basically, we become overwhelmed by the cuteness and it's our brain's way of trying to balance things. I think it's so interesting. I researched it years ago.
