- In this video, we give you a before look at the bike, some quick rips on the street, and some dyno results. We explain what overall components we are doing on this bike as well. This is the first video on the Aerox build, The owner Tim Nicolau, sent us 2 bikes actually an sr50 and the Areox. We will have a playlist they reside you can follow along.

The Aerox is known as the Nitro in South Africa. Luckily we have a master 2t engine builder in our town and we run 135cc ported race engines. 35bhp of mad fun! They are not the most neighbour friendly. Early morning rides I freewheel a block away from my house before I start it and then wake the whole suburb.Hehehe there is nothing like two strokes in the morning. You know what I mean...lol coolair induction! Hahaha

The metrakit pro race 2 was under mine. With a pro race 2 exhaust, 19 hp.

It sucks air from the Inaide, that's why you have in inside filter. The unit is extracting as much heat away as possible on the outside

i want to upgrade my aerox to dohc with koso dohc kit. but cant get it at any shop around my country
dohc is dual over head cam..... there's NO CAMS in a 2 stroke... Make sure you are subscribed! Have you downloaded the new app yet?
From 2018 the aerox was a four stroke, to meet emissions. 😪
Nice aerox, i have a yamaha jog r and thinking anour upgrading to a stage6 mk2 sport pro, yasuni c16. Will a 17,5 dellorto karburator be big enough for that setup thanks?
I recommend at least 21mm carb. Even on cast iron you can feel the difference between 17.5 and 21mm. Of course you can drive with the 17.5mm ,but you definetely won't get the full potential of your setup.

@@carlemilmortensen3880 I suggest you to upgrade your crankshaft for safety .Doppler Endurance should be enough (i don't recommend Jasil ,Motoforce and other cheap brands because the quality is bad - i've seen enough of them broken after riding for half season ,even with dr evo 70cc. ) Small end bearing - Polini definetely. You can put X-Special belt for Multivar ,it will increase overall performance. And 21mm carb later. I don't have experience with gearing kits ,I've never needed to upgrade from stock ,because i don't need a big top speed.

I've had two. A 2008 model which is an update of the one you have. And the current 2016 model, awaiting some mods. Great scooter.

i would disagree on stage 6 carbs being trash, stage 6 quality has become a lot shitier, but stage 6 carbs are made by dellorto which are very good carbs
Agree that we disagree we sell 1000s of carbs a year and work on the bikes so that's our take from hands on experience
Dont say that. Stage6 use dellorto carb PHBG and Voca carb on PWK. That Aerox is all high end parts, it just needs a stage 6 R/T 70cc and a good cvt tunning.
S6 pwk is a terrible carb. Nothing but issues we refuse to sell them

Stage6 Racing MK2 should do 18Hp plug and play with a 28mm Carb and right exhaust like Roost RS5 (And Overrange CVT). Jetting and timing seems way off.

Over here in Holland they are pretty cheap and easy to find.
In the USA they are pretty rare i guess :D my friend bought aerox with malossi sport 70cc ,doppler crankshaft etc. with some small problems for 250 euros in Netherlands. My first scooter was Aerox ,which was also imported from Netherlands :D

That aerox is all high end parts, if that was my bike, I would just change the motor a Stage6 R/T 70cc

aerox hard to find? you can buy them here in holland for 300 euro
They were never sold in the US, and aren't old enough to bring in legally for road use.
That Aerox is probably illegally in the US right now. Since the only two legal ways to bring it in, would either be for it to pass all safety and emissions testing...which it's not going to do being a 2 stroke, or to be brought in as a race only bike (usually by a race team/company).

@@lodewijkderoode2653 Anything over 20 years old can be imported without meeting current emissions or safety inspection standards.
A lot of 90's JDM cars having been getting imported like crazy as they start to meet the requirement.
Same goes for vehicles already here. You can be burning coal, and the vehicle be legal as long as it's over 20 years old.
I know someone in Holland who was telling me how cheap they are.
In the uk , a really rough example can go for £700-800!

Pretty risky running it lean like that.
Motor is still perfect just needs a ton of tuning and a few different products to make it a ripper but this isn’t the motor staying in. We ran it how we got it how it was being ran.... so any damage would have been done before we got it .
Engine is getting pulled from the bike in favor of a totally new engine.

Oh and I got a tip perhaps. Look into the kiesler engine mounts. Makes it look alot better on Aerox imo.
