I had a huge nickel collection dump in 2020. In a single bank bag of $200, I got hundreds of 40s and 50s nickels with a ton of semi-keys, and 13 V nickels. If you keep hunting, it'll happen eventually.
I opened up just several rolls had 5 war nickels and I found a v nickel a 1903 in great shape and a bunch of older nickel and I found a awesome 64 nickel was all most full steps the last line had a little scratch on it that was a bummer but it had a mirror look to it so I am not for sure what I got on this coin I thought about sending it to ngc they wanted me to send it end to see what I really got if it is nothing they just going to send it back to me for nothing they going to pay for it all I can't beat that
35 years ago, I got 4 rolls of nickels from my bank where the newest coin was 1944. All 4 rolls had nothing but V nickels, Buffalo nickels, and Old Jeffs with many war nickels. The wrappers were real old looking and I still have these 4 rolls - intact - to this day. Kind of a time capsule of what was in circulation during world war 2.

This is why whoever the executor of your estate know about your stack and coin collection and educate them on the worth of your collection and even give them instructions on how to sell it so it doesn’t just get dumped at the bank for face values
I have had small collection dumbs in sealed boxes but my best score was a older lady dropped off 6 to 700 dollars of her deceased husband's coin collection. She dumped them before I got to the bank looking for coin and the manager asked me if I wanted them. Found 15 to 20 war nickles v nickels buffalos and a shield and a giant stack of Wheaties

Wife and I finished a $200 bag of nickels recently. Found three Proofs, a bunch of 1999 thru 2005 in both mint marks that are uncirculated. The normal amount of 40’s and 50’s and two 1938 Phillies and two silvers. Pretty good bag.

Between two rolls you found 10 war nickels and that is more than I have ever found in a box!!!! That is the best roll of coins from the bank that I have ever seen myself or on CZcams! That is the most amazing thing ever!!!!!

When I was 13 (7 yrs ago), I found a 1950 D nickel in my mom's purse. She let me keep it, and I gave it to my brother for his collection because I didn't have any folders for nickels at the time. Now I'm kinda sad that I don't have it for my collection, but at least I know it has a good home in his.

My friend buys boxes so I been opening them I found like 4 war nickels and a v nickel in 1 box I was so hype especially 2 silvers in a roll! From other boxes I even found a buffalo it's always fun hunting! Happy Hunting everyone
I wouldn't be surprised at all if some of those were from my collection. Mine was stolen a couple months ago. If so, all I can say is enjoy.....and I'm glad they're in good hands now. 🙂
