I've decided to try and complete the second nickel coin roll hunting series books to see how many bank boxes it takes to fill the entire Dansco Album for Nickels dated 1938-1998. There are 136 slots to fill in Series 2 Books and the mission is to BEAT the 167 boxes it took for Series 1.
This is part 105 of the series (Boxes 80-81 for Series 2) and I do plan on updating it from each nickel box I hunt from this point forward until the nickel coin collection is completed! It may be a little tougher due to the sheer amount of uncirculated nickel boxes we keep getting but I will keep trying!

FYI - The Dansco Album does not have spots for some coins but we'll be hunting these boxes of nickels for Silver Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, Proof coins, Old Jefferson Nickels (namely semi-key and key date nickels), Liberty V Nickels and 2009's for their low mintage.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and our eyes open for some valuable Nickels!

I went to a yard sale today I bought $200 worth of silver coins walkers Benji's Kennedy's Walker quarters George Washington quarters Mercury dimes Roosevelt dimes Eisenhower dollars and whole bunch of Buffalo nickels I never thought I would find something like that at a yard sale it was an epic score

I found the strangest pile of coins in the Coinstar last night: an Israeli 10 agorot 1960-77 (I don't know the specific year because it's written in Hebrew), 19 Mexican 5 centavos coins, and a smashed penny from Tanner's Orchard, which is in Illinois. Not one American coin at all.

recently found a 1929 buffalo!
I pulled a 1939 s and a 1902 V nickel out of a box last night. Wished it was a 39 d only one I am missing.
Might be damage but that 36 S buffalo nickel could be a RPM.
Bank 🏦 branches closing everywhere left and right, I truly hope for your sake it re opens. 👍
It astounds me that any buffalo nickels are in circulation. I was born in 1961 and I’ve never seen a buffalo nickel in the wild. Probably I should buy one just to have one…
To be honest, I feel I've seen some in the years of life but not when I knew what they were, I definitely remember saying something about a Buffalo on a nickel lol, and believe it or not I actually got a standing liberty quarter, all be it, dateless, from the car wash when I got change back to wash my car, and I still have that one (:
Years ago I used to work at a gas station it was a great way to find stuff like that in circulation I found old Buffalo nickels and vehicles quite a bit and picked up quite a bit of silver along the way too old bills Eisenhower coins walkers

It just seems that way sometimes. As long as there are buffalo Nickels, silver halves, or gold half eagles in existence, someone is bound to turn them in for face value.
I found a buffalo at work about a month ago almost all the other nickels in that roll we're new.
