The five-day event took place in Val di Sole, featuring XCO, Downhill, E-MTB, XC Team Relay, Four-Cross and XC Short Track with all athletes racing for a UCI World Title and the rainbow jersey.

I think Rob was so excited for a British winner he mentioned Evie won the Olympic mtb race. But the 3 Swiss riders won Olympic 1,2&3.

It's the olympics all over again for PFP. She goes off like a rocket in the first lap, then fades more and more towards the end.

Her body said “No!” It happens. I used to race XC in the 90s and you just never know when you’re going to have a bad day. You can do everything right to prepare but sometimes the body just doesn’t work the way you want.

The discipline is XCO = cross country olympic. olympic is the distance.

Yup. Short little races. I miss the longer races that were over 3 hours long. Now that’s the “XC Marathon.”

More are using droppers because of the increasingly technical courses.

I switched between the german, french and english commentators. French was super boring, german duo was ok, Rob was the best.

Have you listened to the British announcers from the 90s? It’s like listening to someone read off accounting tables.
