    Morning...is there a way to have the form user determine whether they want to pay by stripe or be invoiced?

    Hi, when I go choose the payment provider (stripe) it says "No connections found yet. Click a Payment Provider option from the list above. A new window will open and follow the steps to the end" and when I click the Payment Provider option in the list, it still doesn't connect to stripe.

    I followed your step and all the test payment is successful, I also received an email and google sheet status PAID, but I could receive my test payment in stripe dashboard, what should I do?

    I have an airtable database and I want a user to have access to a link to an entry form after they complete the transaction. Is it possible to send it with a confirmation email?
    Also can users remove themselves from a subscription?

    • @PayableApps

      @@manny7662 sadly not today. Your best option might be to put the link in the post-payment message. Similar to how we show in this video: czcams.com/video/8O-MlEXyWds/video.htmlsi=K4D-JPwBdwUGHsD6

    Can it happen that a user can submit the form (updating the google sheet) but then if they don not successfully pay, the sheet is populated but no payment has been received and not payment details recorded on the google sheet, but the order is?

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  Před 2 lety

      Yes it’s possible for someone to submit the google form and have not yet paid. You would track the “Payable Order Status” column in the sheet to know if it’s paid. help.payableapps.com/en/article/payable-order-status-defintions-p7s92h/

    How much do you charge per check out transaction. Does the money paid by the purchaser goes directly to Stripe account holder or goes to Payable Apps first and then to Stripe ?

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  Před rokem

      Our pricing is listed here: www.payableapps.com/pricing the funds go directly to your stripe account. The transaction is setup directly between the buyer and the sellers strip account.
      We simply add the small app fee, and stripe will deduct it along with their fee. We find most sellers actually prefer this model, as depending on your cart amount, it would take about $10K in payment volume every month to make a paid platform of $20/30 a month be a better deal.

    For recurring payment: lets say i want 5 payment installments that are not necessarily weekly or monthly, how would i set that up?

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  Před 2 lety

      Hey there, with Stripe one option is you can just do a one time payment for the first instalment, and then login to your stripe account and apply additional ad-hoc charges to the card when you are ready / need. Stripe is nice because they let you add more charges to a card as you see fit. Subscriptions really only help you automate that when you want it to happen automatically on a calendar based schedule sadly.

    I want to sell raffle tickets. what do I have to do to enable the customer to buy any quantity the want? Preferably a flow where the customer can enter a quantity (unlimited) and the amount due being calculated at the payment gateway.

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  Před 2 lety

      You can choose to add a percentage for a handling fee and another for taxes to apply on checkout. You can create promo codes for discounts. Otherwise all the math needs to take place in the google form itself.

    I've seen many recommending this but this message prevents me from installing: "This will allow Payable Forms to: See, edit, create, and delete all your Google Sheets spreadsheets". That seems a bit much. All? Then clicking on the information icon and reading the permissions given there also puts me off on it. Is there any reason you need such access?

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  Před 8 měsíci

      The permission label is actually a little bit misleading. Although it is true that we can read and edit the spreadsheets connected to a given google form or sheet, that the add-on is used for, we cannot read,edit or delete any and all of your google forms or sheets without you taking an action in that given document.
      We do not ask for google drive permission, so we don’t know the document IDs for any of the documents you do not use the add-on with. (If that makes sense)
      Google makes us ask for read, or read/write permission and so we require read write since we update the spreadsheet that is the smallest amount of scope we can ask for sadly.

    • @nuanceshow
      @nuanceshow Před 8 měsíci

      @@PayableApps Thank you for responding. So he permissions are only for the spreadsheets connected to the form that Payable is used on and not ALL as mentioned on the install page?

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  Před 8 měsíci +1

      That is correct. While in theory we are granted edit permission to all of your spreadsheets. To edit them we need to know a given google document ID.
      Without google drive permissions, the only way to get the document ID is for you to use our add-on inside of it. Only documents you use the add-on inside will we be able to discover and read / write to.
      We agree that the google permission screen is a little misleading, as it is technically impossible for us to discover or find “all” of your google sheets with that permission alone.

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  Před 8 měsíci +1

      If you want a guaranteed separation some sellers will setup a new gmail account just for their payable forms.

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  Před 4 měsíci

      Sadly not. We wish we could, but due to limitations by Google we can’t change the user interface or add any scripts to the confirmation page. So we have to use the plain text transition link.
      Not to worry though if your customers miss it, they also get an email with the link to pay in their inbox, and you can turn on reminders, which will send them an additional email after 24 hours.

    • @PayableApps
      @PayableApps  Před rokem

      Today, to cancel the subscription they will need to contact the administrator, and they will lookup the subscription inside stripe and pause or cancel it. The status will then update to reflect the updated status.

      We agree with you. If we could have built it without that extra click we would have. Sadly it’s a limitation of Google Forms, you cannot modify the actual form flow or user interface itself.
