My daughter (11yo) has a business and its been picking up as far as sales but its been all in person. Many ppl have aksed if she has a website. She jas only heard of etsy so thats what she's set on doing. However, ive done reselling and understand more about fees, shipping etc and after looking at etsy fees and other things like saturation. I would rather do her own website. I would obviously manage and do all the technical things but i just want to know. Would yhis be a good route for her? I like being able to easily put it together but also allow for commerce. Also, does this route allow for easy social media crossover and advertising? Hopefully im asking the right questions. Thanks you for this.

      Hey mate,
I would use a website like Hostinger or Shopify (we have a tutorial on this) or a WordPress site if you have experience with building websites. However, I would also leverage channels like Etsy and Amazon as these are marketplaces to just reach more potential customers.

    • @Thompsign

@StewartGauld I embedded Stripe in my Google site, no Spotify store or anything. I did a transaction to see what would happen; I got an email telling me of the payment, and in the dashboard under payments, I see the transaction. So the Google site a third-party site? I thought you meant I NEEDED a Spotify type site.

I've had one of my google sites blocked by google when using the custom html code feature (not the button). I use this to insert a custom made button with the stripe link. Have you experienced anything similar with your sites? In this particular case I had 2 google sites pages, the main page with a button pointing to the url of the second one which is the payments page that contains the custom code. If there is no main page with the button linking to the payments page then the pyments page works fine, but I am afraid to deploy it thinking the page can be blocked anytime.
