It just gets better and better. I'm still new to micros and tuning them but I've been tweeking it more here and there and it's crazy how responsive and smooth this guy is. It really helps that Quadmula puts a huge emphasis on tunability and it allows you to really perfect how these things fly.

Sweet rip bro! Couldnt tell it was from a 3”. I run my micro apex with tmotor 1507s and theyre awesome and frkn durable. Will give these 1604s a try once i wreck em. 6s on a 3” is just insane man.
I built a BQE 3 AF freestyle quad with 1507 2800kv and rip it with a 5s 700mah pack it's 305auw it flings like a Boss! I love your builds you seem to always have something interesting going on I love it.

Love it!!! Awesome video. I ordered an F3 split a few days ago. Waiting for it to get here. I’ve been 3d printing all my parts and putting in the parts order today. I have walksnail on my 2 5” quads and my Cinelog35 performance. Analog in my 7”lr. Once I went digital it was hard not to switch everything. I think with this one I’m going to try the walksnail 1s set up and power either off a 5v pad or a bec. I lowered my mw on my 5” since the 1s is just 350mw I believe and there’s still plenty of range. I can’t wait.
I have the Vision 40 from Rotor Riot that has the WS 1S VTX in it. It is pretty decent on range.

What type of battery connector are you using for your Siren3? XT60 or XT30? If XT60, you might use convertor for XT30-battery? Thanks in advance.
XT30. It's what the packs I use have.
My apex 3 was my first build I'd love to build a quadmula 3 hopefully the frame hits Australia soon. apex 3 needs a brother from another mother.😁 what props are you running on the 1604s? 🤘

Not much difference. I used a similar tuning process.
What do you think putting these 1604 2800kv motors to cinelog30 6s? Any thoughts on flight time and performance?
6s seems like a overkill and efficiency reduction. Bet 4s is the sweet spot:)
Also overcharging HV packs still reduces performance over time in my experience...
But mybe its different with this setup/ LiPos:)
All very true I'm sure. I just refuse to fly anything lower than 6s because I'm an asshat. Lol
In all seriousness I can get about 5-6mins of cruising time on this setup. 3-4mins with lots of full throttle punch outs and quick changes of direction. These HV packs are incredibly good in regards to battery sag and performance through the draw. That was my concern as well as the voltage drops how will it affect performance. So far it's been super smooth and even when I land with 3.7v per cell It's still performing surprisingly well. The only frame of reference I have was when I did a tune for a subscriber who sent me a 3.5" quad on 4s and that thing felt incredibly underpowered compared to this little guy. I guess the goal was to get a 3" to fly like a 5" and it's feeling pretty close to it. I honestly plan on putting in a DJI 03 Air Unit when they release so I'll have 4k video and no need for an action camera. 😁

Would you have chosen the T-Motor F1408 motors if you didn't have to stay under 250g?
Never flew 1408 on this build. You mean 1604?
@@MurdersFPV , no I realize that you currently have the 1604's on there, but T-Motor also sells a F1408 motor with T-Mount. I was just curious.
@@yohfpv the 1604 motors were mostly chosen to stay under 250g. Very lightweight and powerful. Tough to beat. There are other motors that I might have chosen if the sub 250 wasn't a thing. Maybe like 1507 with the normal prop mounts instead of t-mount.

Problem is just what Esc to use, most mini 20x20 esca (even your tmotor) burn so quickly….I hate the bad durability
My JHEMCU EM40 20x20 ESC has been reliable for a few years now. Running 4s.
Is there a analog version
You can fit most VTX in this quad. All the way up to 25x25 mounting.

I got GepRC SPEEDX2 1804 2450kv laying around do u think it will work for this build ?
I've heard of a couple of guys flying 1804 on 3" so you should be good. Quadmula also has the 3.5" available now.

@@mateuszpachulski6211 I think with the 1804 motors I would prefer the 3.5". The Gemfan Hurricane 3520 props are pretty great for that size.
