- Join me on the banks of the DDAA controlled River Don HMS Prison stretch in Doncaster for a look around the fishing pegs on this wonderful feature filled area.
I only Live down the road from here & have never fished this area but after this scout around I can't wait to return with my rods. It screams fish & looks good for a barbel or two with the fast flowing water.
I will be definitely be fishing here in the coming months.

the island prison was infact donny powerstation the weir is a part of that last time i went near that place there were a few fishing the area

Love DDAA waters. Had loads of barbel from that very strech this season. There not even the best pegs on that strech
Yeah like the look of this area.. hope to get a few out over the coming months.. Is there many good Chub n Pike around here too mate?
Rammed with pike. Laat season i was on the prison strech 2 pegs up from the bridge and saw a big pike gotta have been high double - low 20 take down an adult mallard in one hit.

Also kirk bramwith canal holds a decent head of pike.i had 6 on my last session. Biggest 15lb. Thats also on ddaa book
Very confusing round there given the number of channels.
Yeah it's Mad some with no flow... some deep some shallow some with rocky bottom.... the whole mixture.... I'll just have to fish them all 😂
