I still have her first 3 music cassettes and some posters too. I love "Transoriental Orchestra" and "Kayah & Bregović" the most. And she is just great person. Thank you, Don, for reminding Kayah.
If you keep those cassettes, they must have marked you, I know that many people keep them "Fleciki" in their hearts with a lot of nostalgia.
I have never heard about her colaboration with Kasia Stankiewicz, but for sure it could not have been before Kayah's cuccess, because Kasia is much younger and she appeared on Polish music market in 1996. And in 1996 Kayah have already won Fryderyk Music Award for the best pop album and vocalist of the year of 1995, so she has already been very well known and didn't have to collaborate with anybody because it was she who was a star. Maybe it was a little bit later. And Kayah has been divorced for many years with Rinke Rooijens (Dutch TV producer working in Poland).
