Here is an interesting fact: The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has less than 19,000 employees worldwide to manage 29.4 million refugees across the world, not to mention the tens of millions more internally displaced persons, asylum seekers and stateless people across 135 countries. UNRWA, on the other hand, employs 30,000 people, in Gaza to service a claimed figure of 5.9 million refugees.
It is rather strange that those refugees in their own country have grown from 500.000 to what it is today. Does unrwa breed refugees to keep the funding coming in?

One of the issues of why the UN has failed on its original mandate is when one looks at the makeup of the UN. In its founding days, it was made up of democracies. Now more than 50% of the countries making up the UN are dictatorships, and many having dismal human rights records. Iran is just one example of this. It appears that money and geopolitics drive the UN.
In short the UN has outlived its usefulness.

The last 2 days for Eid Al Fitre, end of Ramadan, almost 500 aid trucks went into Gaza only Hal's has been distributed by UNRWA and other UN aid agencies eg WFP imagine the "warehouses" or is it tunnels that are full of food and water?
There has been enough food sent in to last Palestinians a year. The problem is hamas doesn't want civilians to get any.
The photos of hsmas definitely show there is no food shortage in Gaza.

The purpose of UNRWA (and similar organisations) is to assist refugees with their immediate needs (such as food and medical aid) AND to help them find new homes and rebuild lives in other locations. What is UNRWA's success rate for this? do they provide statistics on how many Palestinians they have rehomed annually? Surely after all the years they have been running and all the funds they have received, they must have helped at least someone?!! So why are they not giving the numbers? or are they a complete fraud?
