Human Rights Council can be defined as politically and economically free nations (Global Freedom Scores)? What else would you expect when the world's top Human Rights body is dominated by countries that have no respect for those Human Rights? A lot of decisions in the UN are made purely by the majority of votes. What does this say about the quality and integrity of these decisions when the majority of these votes come from autocratic regimes? What does this say about the UN as a protector of human rights and international justice when the majority of its members have no respect for the values of freedom and democracy, as well as human rights? Only the minority of UN member states uphold the principles of democracy and freedom, Western values of freedom of speech, free markets, property rights, or the rule of law? The fact is thst the massacre of innoccent people on the 7/10/23 was the cause if the current conflict. Israel has every right to defend it's citizens. The people of Gaza voted HAMAS in to govern them, HAMAS has spent millions given in aid on arming and preparing for war. The world is standing by and watching as history repeats itself. The people of Gaza had every opportunity to choosr a peaceful path and prove to the world that they could and would live alongside Israel sadly that is clearly not what they wanted and women and children are often being used to hide and shield terrorists. The UN and all world leaders who stand with this woman and what she is saying should be ashamed.
