Marvel's Wastelanders : Doom had the same tone and epic story telling. Its an audio comic. Amazing storyline for Wolverine. Black widow. Doom. StarLord. What if the Villians had won. Comic adjacent bases and universe.

Fitting that this movie ends on an X, cuz that's what it rates for me: X=10! I love a good bummer of a movie, so very rewatchable for me (both in color and black and white!), though I wish Grant had been a bigger role (was hoping for a Sinister connection cuz he'd have been a badass take on Essex!). Alas, i fear this is where i must dip out on these reviews as i thoroughly enjoy the next three films and will be bummed to hear the inevitable shit talk and gripes that will come their way as I've seen in every video and comment section about them since they came out! I'll just rewatch and love them despite/for their flaws on my lonesome and dip back in once Deadpool and Wolverine comes out to see how our opinions match up!
(And even though i WOULD recommend Old Man Logan, both the original Millar story and post-Secret Wars series, i will ardently second Jenna's recommendation of the Wolverine audio dramas! The Wastelanders series that were inspired by Old Man Logan are also incredible and worth your time! Great casting, production value, and scoring!)
