Very much in favour of a max 4 projects a year; 2 movies & 2 shows a year or 3 movies & 1 show a year for good quality control purposes; for it to feel special again; and for the general/casual audience member to not feel overwhelmed! Just push Secret Wars back & stop rushing to get to it!
Fall guy was awesome I thought about Jaime while watching that intro no phones in theaters and this X-men 97 series has been freaking unbelievable
Marvel has been underdog until 2017, then 207-2019 were there peak era but that's only 3 years. 2021 took off just cause 2020 was empty. and 2021-2022 had a lot of back log of projects thus the 4 movies and 5 shows a year, but we have caught on, only thing of that era that is yet to be released is "Ironheart" but Brad W has already commented on that. With that being said, I agree 3 movies a year is good but we could have 2 LA show 1 animated show.
Time will of course reveal all… but slowing down output alone feels like an over-simplification to me. The system Marvel had (has?) in place worked great right up until it didn't, from the people they'd get to write (and why/why not), those in the director's chair, exec decisions about the narrative course plotted, source material referencing and characters introduced… which has somewhat become public knowledge in fits and spurts over the years. Long story short: more time between titles is all for nowt unless different (and arguably _better)_ decsions are made within that additional time.
Giancarlo as Bast? We lost Chadwick 💔 but whatever soft reboot will need continuity and for BP that means Bast. Would be unexpected in terms of the fan castings but with Eyes of Wakanda coming, a consistently voice acted Bast could carry through the animated series and live action while absorbing the ChadBP/Shuri/Toussaint recast of it all without needing to bring back MBJ everytime which will, very soon, become at least financially infeasible.
