I agree with what someone else said: it’s nice to have a mix of old voices with new voices so it doesn’t feel disconnected. I love every single new voice actor, in that they sound enough like the old voices to pass, but they are each bringing something very new to the role in a positive way! I will say, the new Jean doesn’t sound like the old Jean at all, BUT it doesn’t matter because they weren’t going for that. They knew that since Jennifer Hale voiced Jean in Wolverine and the X-Men that people would totally buy her as Jean in this. Great casting! Also loving Chris Potter as Cable.

Part of cast is original and the other isnt..its good to have some of the OG voices back but this show doesn't feel connected to the original

@eddiebrock1068 the original series was over 30yrs ago ...what made that 92 series what it was ...being the entire original voice cast ...the original show director, writing, the music . Thats whats important you cant be recapture that so this new show will never feel connected...it wouldve been better off as a standalone series separate from the 92 series continuity.

It's been a fantastic opening season of X-Men97 so far! Magneto has personally been the star attraction, the second episode, "Electricity and Magnetism are intimately acquainted." Totally summary up his character and abilities perfectly that just get more incredible with every episode Omega goat detected!

Rick Bennet, the voice actor for Juggernaut, was my film school teacher in Toronto. I would close my eyes and imagine good ol' Jugg teaching me film stuff. Was amazing. RIP old friend.
