As a UGA fan he got all of the stetson Bennett credit we had great QB play which was why Bowers looked so good last year with Beck at QB Bowers was useless almost, definitely over hyped but he'll get a chance and some guys thats all they need
Payton Wilson the LB Pittsburg drafted in the 3rd round could be the best draft steal. If he’s able to stay healthy I think he could step in and make an impact right away.
I cannot agree more with Brendan Rice being the STEAL of the draft!!! I wanted so bad for my Eagles to take a flyer on him at 186 (rd 6) instead of the tall WR from FSU ... I know we and a lot of teams will REGRET passing up on this legacy/pedigree pick!!! I predict we will be seeing A LOT of Herbert/Rice hookups throughout the years!!!
I think people are skeptical about whether Rice wants to be an NFL player or whether his Dad is just living through him vicariously. He was hovering throughout the combine. They may be afraid of "Agassi factor".

I was watching stuff about Bowers & they were saying he was more of a Kyle Juszczyk+, & yes he has the skillset to do that, plus stretch the seams/be a redzone monster - in that Gronk type of mold.

This. Do they realize the nfl tells you what they think of players, sometimes a guy slips a round, sometimes guys nobody heard of goes unnoticed. But Rice is a huge name because of his dad, and because he played with Caleb who was constantly buying time to get guys open. Rice is an effort guy, not a talent guy. Austin Booker was a steal, nfl teams normally don’t draft guys with 500 snaps or less it’s an unwritten rule. Booker came out early he’s only a sophomore and only had about 500 snaps. He’s a DE they played at OLB, and asked to keep his weight down. His snap count fits his sophomore status. He will easily fill out another 10-20 pounds. Only reason he slipped was snap count. He’s got a nasty first step, at the senior bowl in team drills he destroyed the Packers new first round pick Morgan. I mean blew him off the line and put him on his back. He actually had a second or third round grade and was a consensus top 65 player. He had incredible production for 500 snaps and both his run defense and pass rush were graded in the 90th percentile.
Kyle Pitts definitely would have been better with a better QB and it will be evident now that they have a decent QB but hopefully Brock Bowers is able to be the beast he can be
