- Former Public Protector Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane is in the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria to challenge the decision by the office of the Public Protector not to pay her a R10 million gratuity.
Mkhwebane alleges that she received a letter from the legal representatives of the office in February 2024, indicating that she would not be receiving her gratuity.

whether she has a right to her gratuity or not is really up to the courts to decide.

Rule 53 and 6 of Ujifirm are very tricky. It needs a very seasoned lawyer. Reviews are tough. Waiver is a techjicallity that is also covered by rules but it seem as if it is a common law rule that shows skills thatbine acquires in practice.
If I may ask, Are All these folks who occupied high position s , in government we've seen in court because of criminality not going to get their gratuity moneys or their pension monies too? Anyway what crime has Advocate Mkhwebane committed? Which Court has she gone to to be charged? 🛐✌️ Clear and comprehensible Laws in 🇿🇦 Not All of us understand these Laws.
