Buy your Glock today! They are all the same gun but with different numbers attached to the name and some have a different caliber/longer slide.
So from what I gather they took a standard size frame modified to hold a compact slide (g45) and gave it a standard size slide (g17) and called it a g47, essentially remaking a glock 17 that in worst case scenario, could also accept a g19 slide. If anyone is confused about the difference between a g17 and a g47 (I was), every spec is identical except that the g47 weighs roughly 30g more and you will notice the front of the frame by the light rail is shortened ever so slightly so that a g19 slide will fit flush with the frame.
Glock finally getting around to doing what the end user has been asking for. Also, after the Shield Arms magazine upgrade, the G48 is basically what engineers would do if they had looked at the G19 and said, "We can do this better".

@@westvirg304yeah they’ve really destroyed it. Big time. I love the scenery I’ve seen online and in movies but I will never have the pleasure of visiting. Can’t support such a vast level of tyranny and misrepresentation.
@@tomsteele7397 youre missing out. Its beautiful
@@Gamefreak2079 I know I know I just can’t do it. It’s on the other side of the country and I probably would be fine apart from some weird homeless guy talking shit I may be just fine. But in the 1% chance I do need a gun to protect myself or my family I wouldn’t have that option. I’m not a gambling man.
@@tomsteele7397 well youre welcome anytime. I got some tacos waiting for you.
I feel like this might be the exact opposite of "everything you need to know about the Glock 47". This in fact feels like unimportant trivia about the Glock 47.
You forgot to mention how unreliable the glock 47 is.
Maybe instead of just messing with the different sizes Glock can start putting on quality sights from the factory 😮
Lmfaoooo right?! Only took how long to put factory night sights on a gun and it's only the 19x correct me if I'm wrong? Lol
They already do. You can order them with factory metal night sights. You've been able to do this for years, a.d many gun stores carry them in stock. They use the plastic cheap sights because most people have a favorite sight system so they are gonna replace them regardless. How are you people so oblivious to this?
@@Watchdog_McCoy_5.7x28 yes custom order and pay more for them and still have trash ergos and trigger. I'm ok when I can buy a factory gun for less or slightly more and have an entirely better package over all? Why are glock fanboys so oblivious to the fact that glock is the original hi point? 😂💀🤷♂️
@@Watchdog_McCoy_5.7x28 How are you oblivious to significantly less expensive handguns that come standard with metal sights? Plenty of people buy guns and leave them the way they are. If taurus can make steel sights standard on the G3 and G3C that cost 2-400$. I think glock is perfectly capable of making steel sights standard on their handguns.
@@rainworks5155 plenty of people buy guns and leave them the way they are because they have no other option as the aftermarket support is non existent, and they are too poor to buy a Glock and switch out parts they want to upgrade and/or try just because the option to do so is available. It's laughable how you poor people justify your poor choices because you can't buy anything other than a budget gun.
Sig playin chess while glock playin catch up
Oof that voice, makes me wanna buy right away👌
As a non-gun person, I found this to be very perplexing, as they look identical.
They are.
Forgive me but isn’t a long-slide glock 45 just a Glock 17?
G45 & G19x are dimensionally the same; compact slide with full sized (G17) grip.
Yes but uses the same recoil spring as the 19. All this allows you to do is put a full length slide on a 19 frame without leaving the spring exposed
Glock takeing some tips from palmetto now 🤣
This was already a thing before PSA made the dagger
Well damn
@@LetsgoBrandon2023PF940CL?
Thank you
Glock thinking about previous customers love it
Bros eyes when he says GLOCK 47😂😂😂😂
MACs review of this is spot on.. they act like a glock 19x isnt a thing 🤣🤣🤣
no innovations
Facts, it’s pathetic. Next they’re going to start releasing them with colored frames and call it something new.
Glock fans so starved that this is a mindblowing innovation
Let’s see em make something other than that same model and I will be absolutely shocked
.....so it's basically a Glock 17
Respect to Glock for the original design revolution. But it's been done so much better since. Went from reliable, to old Taurus reputation.
At this point glock is the apple in the firearm world
Been that since Gen 4 came out 2010
Introduced when the iPhone 3 came out
I love my gen 4 g17 but it is what it is
No new ideas just the same product with just tiny diffrences
@@23McOne we need 5.7 ammo for Glock
Remove the front slide serrations they’re ugly and not useful at all and make intergarlly supressed Glock or g 17 L again or Glock rifle
Or even a Glock 50 in 50 a.e
Glock 17x
Glock 23x
Or a Glock 18 exact look alike commemorative semi only model
Glock 19 Gen 5 C
It’s a lot they could do
I agree
Glock is trolling hard.
The camera guy was questioning whether the immortality legend was actually a fat myth
If you've seen one Glock you've seen them all. Glock is the Honda Civic of the Gun World.
That changing of chambers was great when dug did it ten years earlier
all i am hearing is "hey guys! we got another 19 with a different name!"
Aiming the muzzle at the camera man like Alec Baldwin
Truly breathtaking innovation from Glock here.....
They're trying so hard not to admit the glock 17 was the right one. That's 30 years of marketing and, "innovation", out the window.
One 17 and one 26 covers all your Glock 9mm needs.
Thanks Lenny! This short explained what the Glock 47‘s purpose is better in under a minute than any of the 10+ minute videos out there!
Glocks innovation keeps us on our toes 😂
Literally every Glock I’ve laid eyes on looks the exact same except a few small differences
this guy looks like a loud noise away from his eyeballs falling out
19 grip....17 slide...that's all we want.
That’s what that is that he just showed
@@HoshiSantana yeah I meant it to say "wanted" instead of want. My own indirect way of thanking them.
Look up the military arms channel and he'll prove to you how stupid that sounds.

They should! If Palmetto can do it, so can Glock
S&W did
Yep

Yep lo key 🔑 on sum gritty 5.7... but yu gotta be on sum asap shit file da tnipp dnooun lo key on da 4tywatta or da nin tucking ext sharpen ya hooks for yo fishing poles is that 💯
What's REALLY cool about this Glock is that it's like every other Glock. *this* particular Glock is *so* unique that it's parts are interchangeable and almost unrecognizable to other Glocks. Buy your Glock today! They are all the same gun but with different numbers attached to the name and some have a different caliber/longer slide.
I Need A Space Glock.
When my department went with the 45 instead of the 17 and we all rolled our eyes
I have both. I think the 45 is perfect size for edc.
I’d laugh my ass off if you also added a switch changing the slides 😂
So from what I gather they took a standard size frame modified to hold a compact slide (g45) and gave it a standard size slide (g17) and called it a g47, essentially remaking a glock 17 that in worst case scenario, could also accept a g19 slide. If anyone is confused about the difference between a g17 and a g47 (I was), every spec is identical except that the g47 weighs roughly 30g more and you will notice the front of the frame by the light rail is shortened ever so slightly so that a g19 slide will fit flush with the frame.
Wow this is revolutionary
Old Lenny acting like this is a game changer. Haha
Groundbreaking innovation.
“Interesting thing about this New Glock…. It’s a Glock.
Here's everything you need to know about the new Glock 47. It's a Glock so it's the same as all the other ones
Plot twist Apple & Glock’s are the same company
The 47 is slightly more accurate with iron sights only, compared to 19. EDC wise 19makes more sense
I know this takes it to another level, but interchangeable parts is the most impactful revolution in the history of firearms.
Am I the only one that thinks this dude looks and sounds like the yellow eyed demon azazel from supernatural TV show🤣🤣🤣🤣
Glock: I forgot to do my homework, can I copy yours?
Glock to Glock: ok just changed it a little bit
Glock to Glock thanks, Glock
You don't need all this fancy schmancy firearm stuff. You just need loose .45, a hammer, and a nail.
Glock finally getting around to doing what the end user has been asking for. Also, after the Shield Arms magazine upgrade, the G48 is basically what engineers would do if they had looked at the G19 and said, "We can do this better".
“Check out the new Glock 2084 it still looks like a brick but can be put together and mixed matched like legos”
I really wish Glock would step out of their comfort zone and design some cutting edge stuff again.
They have a rotating barrel handgun that is cool.
I always see glock as default pistol for Terrorist side on Counter Strike. Nostalgic.
He sweeped the camera guy a lot
