I just discovered this channel and oh my god is it amazing, it's quite relaxing watching this. I have pretty much watched every video I can, Tim is such a likeable person with a passion for toys. I can really appreciate that, and this is pretty much for everyone to see. I'm not that old myself, I'm 17 and I can't get enough of this.
Tim reminds me of my dear old Grandfather who served as an engineer in the Second World War. His neighbour who was a bit of a cad who served with him at the end of the war made his fortune in civil engineering, he was never short of work due to the low cost of his work, he'd cover roads and drive ways at impossibly low prices. My grandfather always bemoaned this as he said he was still using materials he'd been suspected of stolen at the end of the conflict. Nobody ever claimed the material, and my Grandfather's neighbour would never admit to where he'd obtained all the barrels of sticky road covering. If you ask me it was..... WAR TAR FROM DENIAL. [Takes a bow]
After watching many of his videos, I can tell one of his great characteristics: He loves memories, and loves to collect things to remember the good times better. Also, he recalls when each item came out, so he must have asked many questions in his childhood. Just like me. 😀
That Effway toy at the end works the same way the original player pianos worked. Made by Ampico, there are only eight left, but the original player piano wasn't internal. It was a secondary apparatus about as large as the piano itself. It rolled up to the piano keyboard and wooden fingers connected to pneumatics would directly play the keyboard. It was a roll player, just like the newer versions, but these automatic players were originally made in the 1880s and were featured at World's Fairs through the 1880s and 90s. They didn't last long. They were replaced by the internal players pretty quickly. QRS was largely responsible for that, but this little toy piano really reminded me of that because that is pretty exactly how the original player interacted with the piano.
Tim's vocabulary and breadth of knowledge is pretty amazing. From physics to geometry to music etc. And he seems to understand the concepts as well as the words. Very rare. Bit of a polymath imo.
I can imagine just trying to deliver the post to him or something but he would end up convincing me to come in for tea. I would then leave knowing everything about anything that has existed and ever will
I came across this channel randomly a few weeks ago and it is easily the most interesting channel out there. Such a pleasant vibe, can’t stop watching.
Fur Elise is my all time Favorite Classical Song. Love the Piano its as peaceful to listen to as Tims Voice. Mother wants me to Say Hello she sits and watches for Hrs on end.
I love how I can watch any video from this channel, come back to a year or two later and it feels like a brand new video again. I can't really say that about any other videos.
I swear that same little white electric piano (2:09) was used in Trio's music video for Da, Da, Da Edit: Yes, it was! I just watched the music video and it 100% is the same keyboard
Not exactly the same. Da da da used the Casiotone VL1, a later machine. But the Stylophone has featured on several famous recordings, including Bowie's 'Space Oddity'.
This man reminds me so much of my grandpa, he used to be a professional jazz musician and now he loves to just go on and on about all his books and trumpets and vinyls and stuff
It makes me happy that he lets children play with his toys/collections. I love his comment about how thr first one is falling to pieces but oh well because its brought fun to many children 💜
10:15 You put this Gizmo on a Piano or Synthesizer (set it to any instrument you want such as my favorite the Clavinet) between B below Middle C & F, plug it in, switch it on, & you get some pieces of music going. Very cool idea, it plays pieces of music on a Standard Sized Keyboard instrument. I've once put this on a Rare Tenor Celesta and it sounds interesting, the Tenor Celesta is an Octave lower than a Standard Celesta. They're working on an extended range version that plays all the notes and also has the sing along lyrics. Let's hear this thing in action (Piece of Music playing).
that white electronic piano. my grandma has the same one and it still has the same batteries in it when it was bought. and it still works. amazing how you have such wondrous things in your collection.
I recently started watching this channel and it is so relaxing.Thank You Tim!! It really feels good to see your awesome collections😊..Love from India😊.
one of the things I love about this channel is how all the comments are polite and there is no hate. Tim's charm must be contagious.
Agreed! :)
No hate but a lot of degeneration.
Hey Tim your videos suck... No I wouldn't say that but Tim you do make good Videos (if you read this)
His voice is so pleasant. Like, you can come to his channel to just relax.
Pablo Suarez yeah

Arnav Tandon I Duno but I'm wearing medium mediums

I tried to watch something else after a good hour of binging Tim's videos...immediately ended back up on Tim's videos
Doing an all night shift and this channel was all I watched to stay awake!! 😂

They might just be shorts.

tim's voice is so relaxing they should make a "tim tells stories" video. his voice beats any ASMR videos i've watched.

If Toy Story was real, Tim would have created a toy metropolis.
Forget about Andy. He is the one who never let down his toys.
I think tim would be the guy that fixed woody
I enjoy this channel. Just makes me so happy seeing how happy Tim is
This man is akin to Bob Ross in levels of calm voiced people and interesting things to show and talk about. Truly an international treasure!
6:05 Tim accidentally plays some synth piece from Desire - Under Your Spells
I knew it soudned familiar
Who said it was an accident

Oh my, oh my, oh my.

I actually thought it said that at first
Tim tickles the pickles.
That Elfway piano is the coolest thing I've ever seen.
The ivories were certainly tickled...
I never knew that by hitting the same two keys, you could play a song. Tim, you've done it again
Waltz of the "Flowers Waltz" P.I. Tchaikovsky (fragment). Your subscriber from Russia.
Dear Tim, You are evidence that man can find joy, peace and serenity in appreciating even the smallest merits, of the things around them.
The ivories take out a restraining order...
The police are worried you might be a psycho killer or you might be burning down the house.
You mean Byrning down the house right?
Mrs ivory's deffence says tim attempted to rape her behore she made him insane by squirting lemon in his eyes
@Kire1120 well, I suppose they figured they had to try everything once in a lifetime. I mean, love does equal building on fire.

Honestly this man is so good to watch when stoned
Tim just casually dismantles the keyborad puzzle, that im sure was rather hard to solve
I need that Japanese piano puzzle box! It is so cool!
I love how a man just doing what he likes, showing people his collection gets so popular. And everyone likes it.
he is like a children's TV presenter
I came across this channel randomly a few weeks ago and it is easily the most interesting channel out there. Such a pleasant vibe, can’t stop watching.
0:19: why do I feel like a spring loaded clown doll is gonna burst out of the piano
That actually would be clever for some Halloween prop at Spirit.
Fur Elise is my all time Favorite Classical Song. Love the Piano its as peaceful to listen to as Tims Voice. Mother wants me to Say Hello she sits and watches for Hrs on end.

I just love how this channel is so innocent, absolutely no controversy or drama
You know it's a great day when you see a Tim video over 6 minutes long...heh.
The chord of C? In order to 'see' inside the box? Has to be intentional.
Samuel Torres It was made in Japan though.
the kanji for "see" is read as "mi" and mi is often seen as c (3),,,,,???? idk thats wt i think
In Japanese the kanji “Mi” in 見る (Miru) means to look/see
Awesome
Are you here Tim?
Tim's gone home.
Ok
But we had a nice meal in the pub, after the filming.
Did you dee how in 2 seconds there were from 1 like to 28 likes?

I love how I can watch any video from this channel, come back to a year or two later and it feels like a brand new video again. I can't really say that about any other videos.
I hope the number he dialed on the telephone wasn't a real number. If it is they might get a few curious (unwanted) callers.
0:24 "Ooh fairy shocker, no less."

Nate 57773 because in the UK, it'd super hot and it's comfy for him
