I hope you had better quality while listening because in your video it is really lacking lows. I am an Opeth fan but even me if I listen to their new song for first time I can’t fully appreciate it. It is getting better with every listen. Some people return to it after a few years and they start to enjoy it. Thanks for reaction
More than one listen is required,opeth do a lot of long songs,but they generally flesh out the songs really well,they are a very gifted band.

Their album called Damnation is a serene masterpiece from beginning to end that gives you that feeling of tranquility, packed with clean beatufiul vocals. I recommend Hope Leaves or In My Time of Need! Take care

I am not much for growls, I guess I am what they call a "Newpeth" fan. Their last 4 records have no growls. This song is performed on a live show they did at Red Rocks. What sold me. It's a great mix of new and old. So interesting and musical and Mikael Akerfeldt, he does all the singing btw, is super funny. I highly recommend watching Garden of the Titans!
Opeth is another band, like Dream Theater, that is best experienced in LIVE video. The live version of this song at Red Rocks is SO damn good!
