Your video just came up on my feed so I thought I would check it out. Those bats are fruit Bats and can be pretty big. My wife and I live in the jungle west of Tagaytay near Alfonso.I was a Park Ranger for the US Fish and Wildlife service and we came back to the Philippines when I retired. We get a lot of reptiles in our yard, lizards and snakes. The wildlife is amazing here. There is a National Park nearby that has a bunch of wild monkey's which we go to every once and a while. My next trip is to Davao to visit the Philippine Eagle Center. Good video, thanks for posting.

Wow, Flying Foxes! They are on my bucket list to see. They are basically just puppies with wings, lol. You can look for videos under "Feeding a flying Fox" and watch them eat bananas, grapes, etc. Too cute. Their bodies can get to about 16 inches long, and their wingspan can get up to 5.6 feet! Freaking MASSIVE bats! Awesome video brother! 🤘😁

It's refreshing to see children are curious, comfortable and not fearful of strangers. Of course living in a small town in the province, where everybody knows everybody and there are a lot of locals around y'all, kids will be more inclined to be comfortable talking with strangers.

I think those are the ones that look like foxes? I've seen them online and their faces look a bit dog-like i think. Anyway, did you know too Chris that our national bird - the Philippine Eagle (used to be called the Monkey-eating Eagle) is the biggest living eagle in the world in terms of length and wing surface? Hope you could visit the Philippine Eagle Sanctuary one day in Davao. :)
