Rotary Spirit: 6 Rotor vs 4 Rotor - ロータリー魂: 6ローター対4ローター

Rotary Spirit was held once again this year at Mobara Twin Circuit on July 7th.
From the event, this video highlights a rare comparison of a street spec NA 4-rotor and a time attack spec NA 4-rotor, both built by none other than Scoot Sports.
We also had a chance to see the only 6-rotor in Japan built by Anniversary Racing Factory, now running on all 6 rotors.

Thanks for translating. Love them all. I do still however think the 20b 3rotor turbo'd sounds the best of all combos ive heard so far. This Y's produce FD def has the best sounding 26b 4 rotor ive heard, very unique sound there on the straight, music to my soul!

How can it switch from running on 4 rotors to 2? I'm so confused. Is it to 13bs merged together?

the 4 rotor get a serious exhaust work....if you can adjust the exhaust pulses,yes 4 rotor can be sound like 2 rotor,stack each other exhaust pulse,but since it NA it will not affect anything....the turbo one need the pulse ritmic for spinning the compressor.....Thanks ShuBoxInc for makin the sub...i love you...

ハイブリッドの様に、モーターアシストからエンジンの様に、２ローターから４ローターに、、、凄いな、こんな感じに作り上げられるなんて、とんでもないメカニックだね！オーバーフェンダーが車のフォルムを壊す事なく纏って居てカッコイイと思います。４ローターでも凄いってなるのに、その上の６ローターって、もう化物化してるよね！その内、８ローター作る人も出て来るんだろうけども、その前にメーカーから水素ロータリーエンジン搭載車が発売されるかもね！（笑）

この６ローター３ロータ―⁺３ロータ―なのか、長いエキセントリックシャフトを作って長いテンションボルトでハウジングを締め付けたのかどっちだろう？
ロータリーエンジンって構造が単純だから２ロータ―の部品を使って４ローター、６ローターが作れそうだがエキセントリックシャフトの製造、接合がむづかしそう。搭載方法はコンパクトなエンジンだから寝かせて横置きミドシップってどうだろう？燃焼室側ってプラグしかないから下に来ても問題ないように思う。

確か787の4ローターはエキセントリックシャフトはテーパー状になっていましたから、強度からも真似ている気がします。
