Both Darin and Agnes are old Swedish Idol competitors. Darin came in 2nd back in 2004, which was the very first season, and Agnes won the whole thing the following year. Both have had quite impressive careers since then, with songs like "Release me", "Step up", and "You're out of my life" (which Darin actually competed with in Melodifestivalen 2010). Agnes has also competed in our national selection once, in 2009, with "Love love love".
Other Eurovision/Melodifestivalen artists who have also competed in Swedish Idol include (but definitely aren't limited to) Danny, Måns, Anna Bergendahl, Robin Stjernberg, and Robin Bengtsson.

I’m a little shocked because I think I realized they’re actually a bit older than they look (especially Darin), even in this performance! I was 17 at the beginning of 2013 and I figured he was about the same, but he must he older! Is Swedish Idol still on/was it pretty big?

@@JordanDavisEurovision I had to check to make sure, but its last season was in 2019 so I'm assuming it's still ongoing. lol The first season was one of the only ones I watched, and I remember Darin was the crush of every pre-teen like me. He was 16 or 17 when he competed back in 2004, making him 33 today. Oh, and I just remembered! Our one and only queen Loreen was actually one of his fellow contestants on the show, and she only came in fourth (!). Says quite a lot about how talented that year's winner was. (His name is Daniel Lindström and he legit has one of my personal favorite singing voices, like, period)

I’m really glad you decided to react to this 😊 Darin was my winner of Melfest 2010 and his vocal is one of my favorite male vocals. I was happy to see producers invited him to perform as an interval act, so I really hope he one day gets the opportunity to represent Sweden.
Agnes’s song Release Me was actually an international hit, so I thought you might have heard it already before. Her other song is really good too, I really liked your comment how you said it’s big, but at the same time light 😊

I am still waiting to see Agnes back in Melfest. She is one of my favorite swedish female singers. Her voice is very recognizable.

You should listen/react to Agnes’ latest single ’Fingers Crossed’ which is amazing! 🤩

OMG! Darin's friends with me on TikTok!
If he knew how hot I think he is, he'd probably block me.
Not like I'm dangerous or anything.
    I just want a hug!
And shit, I sort of know Agnes, too!
    Who am I?
You tell me, because I have no phukking clue! 😮
Edit: Darin's part of "the family" to the detriment of hoards of fangirls across the globe.
But come on! Have you ever seen a person that gorgeous who were straight? ❤
And Agnes is just that rare thing as a popstar with integrity. ❤

Jordan, I just love your reactions! You are such a sweet and generous person. You totally ooze lovely charm.
By the way, I have tried to press the like button on every one of your reactions but it doesn't work. I'm just mentioning this in case there are more people who have the same problem, all the while you might be wondering why you dont have heaps and heaps of likes.

I was so happy wehn sometime in the last 6 months Darin came out... much easier to do in Sweden to say the least; an Ironic name for this song, his biggest international exposure ever...

Would be great if you could react to Imaani from the UK in 1998! 🇬🇧 She was robbed of the win and came out with a real trendy RnB track for the time! Well worth a watch at some point in the future

I couldnt really enjoy Agnes' performance, with the obvious wardrobe ripoff from Sertab Erener ESC 2004
