Her performance with Mons Zelmerlow in 2016 is even more hilarious. It is called Love, love, peace, peace. In this they make fun of a lot of entries of Eurovision through the years. But you can only understand it all, if you have seen all the original entries that are being made fun of, in a very harmless way.
Not every Eurovision hostidid this, she is the best ever

I'm American who has been to Sweden twice and you should go. This is very funny and true from what I have seen. Building on that, as an American, you might be disappointed. It is beautiful, everything runs perfectly, the food will be better than you expect and summers are glorious. The Swedes speak better English than most Americans. They are extremely polite and helpful. They seem not particularly open to meeting new people in my experience which is unfortunate. They are a very clever bunch of people who would be incredibly delightful company if you break though the barrier. Don't get me wrong, Sweden is incredible, as is all of Scandinavia, but connecting with people can be a challenge there.

Is this really funny to others? I'm Swedish so I get the references, maybe some Germans get the elk references but otherwise...?
A lot of Eurovision host countries hype up their own country, act pompous, show their scenery, traditional costumes and dances etc.
Sweden just does the opposite and makes fun of it all instead.
You can check out the skit "Swedishness" , that's from Eurovision 2013 in Sweden too. Pretty funny.
