I must say, Season 1 isn't my favorite, reason being it was 2020-2021 and popular tropes and myself being new to the community made it a bit. **Outdated.**
But a series is a series and it still tells a story.
I'll leave you to Season 2 and 3. That is where- in my opinion- things really begin.

I find Ennard more interesting as a third party, as in, they have no loyalty to Afton but their by no means friendly to the player, they kill to disguise themselves and little else.
I thought that was most if not all of the animatronics? Hating afton but not liking the protagonist either
@@samdwimch7345 not really, they don't hate the protagonist they believe that the protagonist IS Afton, at lesst thats why i assumed the haunted animatronics attacked you. Not to mention I believe the haunted animatronics are for less intelligent and more sympathetic then Ennard, they stuff you in a suit sure but you're led to believe its their programming or whatever, Ennard butchers you because it has devised a plan to escape, Ennards smart enough to steal your identity and masquerade as you until you're literally rotting off their endoskeleton which in my opinion makes their actions more malicious then thr other endos and makes them more interestimg

The human like teeth is such an eerie, good detail in the video. That inclusion in the first game always freaked me the fuck out and was why I was actually scared of Chica more than Bonnie.

ennard in general was scary as fuck, its awesome to see him in Reach's animations. Its only a little sad that as far as I know, ennard in this show is kind of a meme on the internet, kinda like that whole "disturbing character is funny" bit.

I think the thing that brings the most horror to these animations is the teeth. The teeth may provoke something like some sort of a prey fear predator instinct. If something seems human-like and it has human-like teeth, then it probably makes us have a self preservation instincts moment.
That is actually something that we evolved mainly to avoid dead bodies
I really hate how Ennard was treated in the main series, so seeing this makes me really happy.

For anyone else wondering, it's NOT the n-word, the tech is basically calling the security system stupid.

I got the impression from Afton deleting the files as their seen, I think he's left these tapes here SPECIFICALLY so Henry could find them. I'm certain that Afton is toying with his food the way his own creation is. I'm too much of a scaredy-cat to watch the rest of the videos myself so I'm going to sit quietly and wait to see if there is anything to back this up.
Another super underrated series is MD-PTV. It's a foundation who captured Springtrap (and later a few others like Michael post-scooping room), trying to figure out how each of them work through experiments and interviews while keeping them contained. It's scary and emotional too, getting you invested in their dynamics and original characters like agent Dennis Crane
They used to upload every few days but haven't in months, trying to find a new team and finish college but the series is far from over and would love for more people to see it

I love how ennard moves with real animation, not just the occasional movement like other FNAF VHS series, you can tell this guy is an animator through and through.

Even though I'm not a fan of fnaf and not part of the community, I love to every once and a while look at what's going on with the fan side of things. These fan games and fan stories are always crazy impressive to me
My favourite part of the design is Ennard's more human eyes compared to the usual fazbear entertainment eyes

It's funny how just about everyone who has made an entry into the "Creepy haunted kids' playplace animatronic" genre has done leagues better at the horror aspect of the games than Scott Cawthon has.
Well considering the only reason he made the game in the first place was because someone said the character in his other game looked like creepy animal animatronics, he was probably not very educated in the genre.
Scott wasn’t trying to make it a disturbing nightmare, but just wanted to use his ability to make characters that look scary in a game
Scott didn't know what made the games properly scary. And eventually he shifted focus from keeping it so terrifying to just continuing the train of additions - eventually, given time, he turned away from the supernatural focus entirely and just made it into what it became: William and his ridiculous adventures through pseudoscience and nonsensical engineering. The original games had the atmosphere right even if some aspects of gameplay might've been off, but a lot of it was stuff that people brought back. The animatronics move like they're not just single-minded machines always knowing where everyone is. The spirits felt like they might be their own independent entities, separate from the mascots they're forced to use as tools. The ghostly presence was felt through more than just the animatronics but also through induced hallucinations, changing scenery with no possible explanation and sounds both disembodied and not that had no right to be playing.
that's simply because Scott wasn't trying to go to this direction of horror. idk why so many of u guys are surprised with something so simple

I watched the first season sometime before Dawko's Fnaf Horror Review video but had since then forgotten about the series. Thanks for shining light on these amazing animations. Gotta watch the newer seasons now.

@@SuperTurboPOP i'd recommend you watch Kane Carters video about his and Thefts "beef", its debatable if its really objective, but it gives a decent overview over what happened.
The gist is, Theft made a clickbait thumbnail about the fanverse dying, Kane made a Tweet about how fnaf news CZcamsrs where overly negative and sensational, Theft claimed Kanes fans then attacked him, and wanted an apology or something, some tweeting happened, and Theft then made a stream where he threw a hissy fit and condemned Kane to an eternity in hell, which led to him being clowned on.
Admittedly, i just checked his channel for the first time in a while, and he seems to be doing just fine, so obliterate was maybe a bit too strong a word, but he lost some of his prestiege nevertheless
Some of the parts of the story are a little confusing. But for the most part what's known is that, however Ennard was created, someone's in there - a soul, though who it is I do not know. Perhaps one we ourselves simply don't know.. or perhaps it _is_ someone we know, such as Elizabeth or that poor crying child, forced into becoming this thing. Whatever the case, it's a machine of some description forced to do Afton's bidding, and is definitely willing and able to go through with that, as effectively as possible, without being found out by anyone it intends to let escape.
As for the other text, well.. it seems more likely to me, given how it appears, that it's a spirit. One which is showing this stuff to Henry, directly against what Afton wants - though he's not keeping quiet about it in the process. Some of the later parts in this chapter.. season.. whatever you call the sections, some of the later parts here are very clearly messages from the spirits, everyone somehow communicating like this.
Yeah I was a little confused, since in the original game enard was all of the animatronics from sister location combined to try and use Michael’s body to get out, it was all of them but in here it’s someone separate.
I suppose that Funtime Freddy and Baby aren't part of this version of Ennard, but I suppose that makes sense, as even the game version is mostly Funtime Foxy and a few parts of Ballora. They are both quite aggressive animatronics, so I'm going to say that it's them.
PLEASE do the rest of the series, its really good!

I'll just repeat what i said on one of reaches videos. The reason enard is horrific in that series is because it talks like it *needs* to kill. Not that it wants to, but that it is it's purpose. What is was made for, made from. It embodies the horror and death and violence of the victims that compose it.

Reach animations is probably my favourite fnaf inspired horror video creator. I absolutely love their ennard series and the new one they started is so promising. It's not cheap scary analogue horror. It's an actual, engaging and spine chilling story

Yeah, you need to continue with Season's 2 & 3. All I'll say is that you're right about one thing, something did change with Ennard. It's why that video was only a season finale, rather than a series finale

I have a thought after watching this and your uploaded stream video of season two I got an idea that the person who is threatening to kill afton isn’t Henry but Clark seeking revenge for his dead coworkers. I got the idea from the part where Clark was in therapy and knew that it was aftons fault for his coworkers death and it can’t be Henry since he is watching the files so the next person in line to hate afton just as much or even more would be Clark seeking revenge. (Also I know I’m very late to this video and I might be accidentally saying a idea thats already been said).

Trying to find an analog horror series that doesn’t rip footage from the Walten Files/ Mandela Catalog/ Squimpus (I’m not rlly that upset, things like these still have a lot of original material with a lot of effort put into them, and these must be incredibly hard to make. Just something I’ve kinda noticed, as well as some blatant plagiarism in certain examples)
