I run a van but still watched for the information. I’m surprised there’s no calibration needed. Good stuff as usual DIY!
Hell I even got some useful info out of the comment section concerning airflow to the reefer!!! 👍🏽
If the display panel is the same, no update needed...but if it slightly different a software update may be needed. In this case, it's the same
I have no mechanical fixing skills. But that looks pretty simple that I should be able too change one out.
Sounds like an expensive but necessary and easy fix
I was having the same issue with my display DIY and I just replaced the LCD display. They sell it on eBay for $200. It’s very easy to switch out.

Issues with carrier reefer today... unit shit down due to coolant over heating .. fun stuff I tried to add a membership but for some reason I don't have a fancy member ship button

There is a join button by my name. here is a link. hopefully you got that sorted out before you had an issue with the load! sometimes in the high heat if you are parked you need to drop the trailer and pull ahead a few feet so that reefer can get some airflow. usually not a problem when you are moving. Airflow for the reefer units is very important
I just cleaned it out blew off dust checked fluid belts and such ... been working great so far (3 hours). So I have restricted my CZcams because I have a younger boy. Thinking that's why I do not have a membership button 😜🤨🤣I will figure it out while at a shipper lol

I changed mine and not working properly light solid yellow no codes and not read unit hours
new panel has an update then. you will need to stop by carrier for a software update. Takes about 10 min. must be a newer model panel. It will still run fine until you get this done

years ago u could get away without adding software, now if you buy the part over the counter and install it you will get an update software alarm
I've had that happen about 50% of the time. these screens don't last anymore, I 've been having them go out a little after a year of being new
@@DIYSEMI we have some customers put window tint on theirs and actually had one 5 years old still look like new, if it gets dim you can adjust the contrast on it

@@josephsmart552 advanced. I used vies given to me and they worked but got stuck on a screen saying it was loading
@@yellahairdgirl2546 normally you can press the select button until you see settings, in there you can scroll up or down and u will see reset pm hourmeters
@@josephsmart552 ☝🏼 I agree.. it isn't that simple for some reason 😁thankfully it isn't hurting anything and no one loading me has said anything.. I will slow down sooner or later to have it reset:) maybe just get my next PM done at a trailer place 🤩
