Man I've had this problem pop up before and couldn't figure it out. Having it today actually. Checked the evap temp and sure as shit 80 deg with a box temp of 48 deg. Thanks !!!! Friken worked!!!!! I'm back at the exact same place with the same shity weather. Now with the new sensor it's pulling temp no issues. No more low suction superheat code.

Nice to see other Tyson reefer mechanics and maintenance mechanics troubleshooting, i learned so much while working at a Tyson facility. From knowing nothing about maintenance to learning about how to take proper measurements/fabricate work on interlocks belts, learning to do splices on tan conveyor belts, learned about pneumatics, hydraulics systems, electrical schematics and a lot more I can’t think off the top of my head rn, where I went they had training to learn all that so if you felt like you where mechanically inclined you could get a chance to learn and get paid to learn instead of paying to learn…

This is the only video on CZcams that even mentions low suction superheat. The yard I work at has this issue with every other trailer its crazy.

Good video. Also if your replacement sensor doesn’t come with a plug, splice it before the connector to help the next guy. There is no polarity.

I have a vector 8600mt that wont run. The screen says - unit restart will occur - HP1 with codes A00100 and A00013. You ever come across this?
