honestly, modding it in VR is fantastic. also, it's worth getting a vr headset for the other games as well. H3VR, Boneworks, Jet island, Pavlov. there's a world of VR games and getting a VR set was a great investment.

Also, you can’t play videos in the background with audio only on mobile without CZcams Premium. I use that all the time.

I feel like this deserves to be a series. I need to preemptively vicariously discover my perfect non-existent virtual living space. I've never been one for housing mods but I can see myself tripping into the rabbit hole in VR. That might actually be one of my biggest draws to VR overall. Not necessarily housing mods, but experiencing virtual living spaces from a more immersive perspective, stuff like the Forest and Subnautica, for the same reasons you mentioned. Just collect awesome homes in a headset to hang out in at my leisure and stare at stuff.
This corner of the internet maybe be small now, but give it some time. You'll have two corners someday :)

There’s Skyrim mods of both Middle Earth in general, and the Shire specifically. As someone who’d love to live in a real-life hobbit hole, their recreations of Bag End are AMAZING. There’s also an Oldrim Bag End player home that I tried to convert to SE in order to view in VR, but it’s kinda glitchy.
So sad they're abandoned

After watching your player home showcase Rayek's End has become a staple for all my playthroughs. It may not serve as a primary place of residence but I always find myself drawn back to the indoor spa & surrounding ambience. Elysium Estate is also fantastic as it offers an outdoor spa with a great view (might need dyndolod).

Man, I've seen so many of Habie's videos (to the point that its become hard to pinpoint those I haven't watched yet) and they all so funny, entertaining and wholesome.
But, this one... Somehow this one spoke to me on a very personal level. I now want a VR headset just to obsess myself with finding the perfect Skyrim VR house to chill at.

Bruh, I did the same thing with Blade & Sorcery VR 😂. I got so into it with mods, basically turning the game into Star Wars VR 😂, no one could get ahold of me for weeks! i have so many problems with performance on player homes. i have a 6900xt, a r7 5800x, 32GB of memory, running on a gen3 ssd and most player homes still have a tendency towards reprojection
that said peregrine highwatch might be my favourite. only a small display room for quest items (i think these cause the lag). plenty of curated and linked storage. so get home from an adventure and put your lootz in an appropriate container and all of those containers will contain that loot. 6 beds for kids, another 7 or so for adventure buddies/harem. dwemer ruins, planters, fishing, between whiterun and riverwood, the former owners ghost is still there.
it's only real issue is the chickens tend to get killed by wandering sabercats pretty early on...also sometimes there's sabercats just outside the front door killing your chickens.
it's not in my current load order though. using a home in whiterun that came with a mod making whiterun into a real town not just a few shacks and infinite guards

BTW you should try the KAT VR LOCO S changed Skyrim forever for me 121.65km in 5 weeks all walking jogging oh and a hell of a lot of running best movement system so far I can't play any VR game without it!

I've tried playing some PCVR games..however only the home screen takes 90% out of the GPU! Is there any setting adjustment you all did to optimize performance????? I am dying to play SkyrimVR, the Psvr version was soooo underwhelming
Skyrim VR specifically runs the best of all the VR games I’ve played, and I’m on a MSi Laptop with a GTX 1660ti and an i7 processor with 6 gb of video ram
