I have now officially learned more than my dad in geography(who studied geography for 15 years) by watching 18 minutes of geographical facts.
Ayyy YESSIR!!
@@global.thingswhy did you show India with fewer people than China? 5:58
What did your dad learn for that 15 years? All the stuff in the video is just too basic and simple for that to be true
@@BunchOfGreyGrapes India only recently overtook China as #1 Population, it is because of this that much of the information online is still outdated.
@@TTToba India overtook China in January this year; around 6 months ago. It is recent, but not *recent* recent.
Cambodia actually isn't the only national flag with a building! The flags of Portugal, San Marino, and Spain also have buildings on them! The middle of the San Marino flag has the Three Towers of San Marino, with a tower on the three different peaks of Monte Titano (Guaita is the oldest tower, Cesta is on the highest summit, and Montale is the smallest; Montale is the only tower closed to the public). The Spanish coat of arms has a castle representing the historic Kingdom of Castile, and the Portuguese coat of arms has many castles that represent the Moorish castles conquered by Portugal during the Reconquista.
The bird on Dominica's flag is the Imperial amazon and yes, they are actually that purple! They're also known as the sisserou and they are endemic to the island. Unfortunately, their national bird is critically endangered for a bunch of a reasons. For starters, hurricanes like Hurricane David back in 1979 cause extensive damage to the island and thus their habitat. They also have to deal with logging, banana plantations, illegal trading, nesting competition with owls and red-necked amazons, and being preyed on by boa constrictors, black-eared opossums, and European-introduced rats.
You have a good explanation Kim

Not only is Vatican City the world's smallest country, but they also have a RAILWAY! Yup, even a country this small has trains! The railway is 300 meters or 980 feet long, making it of course the shortest national railway in the world. You can even ride on the Vatican railway yourself as since 2015 seasonally, you can take a train from the Vatican to Castel Gandolfo which is the Pope's vacation retreat. The railway is mostly used for inbound freight goods.
Basically, the construction of a railway station in Vatican City and its linkage to the Italian rail lines was guaranteed by the Lateran Treaty in February 1929. The construction of the viaduct leading to Vatican City from Roma San Pietro was paid for by the Italian government! And the station within Vatican City was financed from indemnity agreed to in the treaty. The first locomotive entered the Vatican in March 1932, and the station was opened officially in October 1934. However, the first Pope to use it was Pope John XXIII in 1962. The railway station was actually the only thing bombed in Vatican City during WWII as in March 1944, the Vatican discovered that the Germans actually parked a munitions train there!
I see you everywhere.
Love your video. Keep up the good work
I loved the first one! I can’t wait to watch this. And also your videos are top notch, keep it up! :)

Me wondering how to get 2.3 kids:
The .3 is from babies in pregnancy, maybe. :)
it's an average if one person got two kids and another got three the average would be 2.5
Here's why St. Martin is split. The Dutch was first in the area for salt in the 1620s. The Spaniards then captured it in 1633 due to war with the Dutch. One year later, they built a fort (now Fort Amsterdam) and another artillery battery at Pointe Blanche to assert their claim. The island lost its value to the Spanish, and so they left after the Eighty Years War and the Dutch returned. When the French arrived, in March 1648, they agreed to divide the island between their two territories with the signing of the Treaty of Concordia. There's folklore as for why the border is the way it is: To divide the island into two sections, the inhabitants were told to choose two walkers, one chosen by the French community and the other one by the Dutch community, who were put back-to-back in one extreme of the island, making them walk in opposite directions while stuck to the littoral line, and not allowing them to run.
The point where they eventually met was set as the other extreme of the island, and the subsequently created line was chosen as the frontier, dividing Saint-Martin from Sint Maarten. Seemingly, the French walker had walked more than his Dutch counterpart. The French locals' explanation for why France got the bigger half is that, as the first man chose wine as his stimulant prior to the race, the Dutch guy chose Dutch gin, the difference between such beverages' lightness was said to be the cause of the territorial differences. The Dutch locals instead accuse the French walker of running.
You're probably most underrated CZcamsr keep up the good work

Fun fact: in Italy the guinea pigs are called "Porcellini d'india" that means indian piglets
Wow! Very cool! 🇮🇹 🐖 🇮🇳
If they are masculin or feminin, how would it end? Would it be "Porcellinio d'indiao" if it's masculin? Because italian masculin words usually end in "O"? And if it were feminin, would it end in "e"?
@@impressiveman675 so in Italian we basically replace the vowels to change gender and number so it is porcellino d'india but in this case it remains in masculine in both cases just like "una tigre" (a tiger) is only feminine but applies to both genders
@@thebestrocky7935 Oh, okay! Thanks! I am learning Italian right now. And I am trying to get better at it, so that helps! (:
@@impressiveman675 nice! Also a little help with your learning! The first thing to know In Italian is the alphabet. Even if wrote is the same as English alphabet it's the pronounce that is fundamental as Italian words are read as they are written
