I’m not from Kosovo, but I’ve heard that Kosovo somehow uses other countries because it’s debatable whether Kosovo is a “real” country. So watching a video from Kosovo will count as a nearby country’s view, like serbia

i can confirm, as a person from kosovo, when signing in alot of people here pick albania as their nationality
for the most part it counts as a view from Serbia or from Albania

I confirmed this exact thing in an older similar video of Jack. Whenever I'm in Kosovo, my IP is shown to be from Serbia, Albania, North Madedonia or sometimes even Slovenia, but it never showed up as Kosovo.

Never expected Jack to think that Filipinos don’t speak much English 💀 The Philippines was actually American territory from the early 1900s to the late 1940s. English is actually a main language of the Philippines, being taught in most schools. They use English so much here that there’s been a growing movement to preserve the country’s own language as kids these days can’t speak Filipino but can speak English.

This blows my mind. I’m from a ‘small’ island, the Isle of Wight and we have a population of around 140,000 people. For these islands mentioned in the video to have so few people it’s pretty incredible!

Нет, например я тож на английском довольно хорошо говорю. Тип у Джека или Джака(Я хз как правильно) мне на канале попались первые видео, откуда я собственно и интересуюсь географией. Поэтому его канал(-ы) на меня повлиял(-и) довольно сильно. География для меня теперь это интересующее меня хобби. Я например знаю ВСЕ флаги кроме всяких британских территорий тип островов сэндвич.

When I visited Malaysia everyone I met could at the very least make themselves understood in English. The vast majority spoke almost fluently

Hi Jack, I'm from India, particularly Maharashtra, your top viewers in India. I am going to consider a hypothetical scenario where each of these persons has watched a single video of Jack once in their lifetime( not considering repeat viewers). So this is more about the population of the state rather than the actual viewer analytics. 9.6 millions is about 8% of the state's population. In Karnataka too, you have about 8% of the state's population. Then it falls. Your viewers are about 2% of Uttar Pradesh. Then back to 5% of the state in Tamil Nadu. Then damn! 20% of Delhi watches your video. That's the best percentage in top 5.
Edit: Considering that this is not an actual thesis, I thought people would understand that I am considering one view as one person rather than counting repeat viewers because analysis using repeat viewers isn't possible with this limited data. For that, I need actual info about each viewer individually, which CZcams doesn't provide. But since everybody started picking this apart, I thought I'd make it clear that it is a hypothetical scenario.

Indeed, India, and Philippines, are considered as almost native speakers, as they learn English, because there are quite a few dialects among their countries, and English is the best way to have a unique one.
This is why, on Geoguessr, you also find English writing in both locations :)
It is way more surprising for Indonesia, as they don't usually speak English, unlike Malaysia
Regarding Tuvalu, Nauru... and other places, these are because of the VPN IP's origin I guess, with maybe some people speaking English.
Regarding Kosovo, I don't know how the count is made, as indeed, it is considered as Serbia by many, and I think the IP and Internet system might be linked to the serbian one, technically speaking. Not sure of that at allr

If you consider the population being able to access to school, and under a certain age ( 40 ? ) they should be able to speak english , if they don't come from a remote, or very rural area, and if they are not working or roaming in the streets.
Sadly, pretty much 90% of the population is not part of this system, due to poverty, and also to their cast system

We all love to know the interesting landmarks in our own country, as well as others, and all the fun facts and stats from everywhere else. A geography channel from a conceptual standpoint is one of the best to make due to massive reach. Sure geography lovers aren't as strong a group as swiftys, kpop stans, or minecrafters for instance, but a much wider potential viewerbase. Its really interesting to think of how geography content can truly cross barriers, culture, and language
That is actually a pretty good insights into CZcams inner machinery. Only in 10 minutes you can take away a few decisions which you can use to grow your channel. Now imagine MrBeast analyzing such data for like 10 hours a day.

For Spain I would say they mostly watch Spanish talking people since there is a lot of Spanish content. Same for french countries. New Zeeland is surprising though.

I'm from Russia and I am honestly very _VERY_ surprised Russia even made it into the first 50 considering how little people here know English. Like 3mil, damn that's impressive. Literally almost no one knows English, my classmates do nothing on English lessons, adults can't understand simple things on like food packages and other sh!t. Don't ask how I know English so we'll to be watching _a lot_ of English speaking youtubers, it's a big story. It's very bizarre to see that many Russians watching you, glad to know someone's like me. Or maybe it's just translation channels or automatic CZcams translation and they actually don't know English.
Overall I'm sorta kinda obsessed with geography and I hyperfixate on your videos a lot and they actually helped me become better! Proud to be from those 0.5%
Such a small number of views may also be due to lack of knowledge of the channel. For example, I just found it today. And adults, for the most part, studied at school not English, but French or German. (in my environment)
