The GDP can change if a country secedes, because it can depend in the internal trading. This is very significant when talking about non-federal countries where any region has economic autonomy or any similar properties.
To know if a nation can survive we need social, political and microeconomics information which is way more complex than only the money generated in the region (which is already a very unprecise measure of the economics and the population). It's also included here the international context about that specific country

probably not, China would probably see the new USSR as a threat. I mean China probably sees current day Russia as somewhat of a threat, given their large land-border, Russia Military etc. Historically Russia and China haven't always gotten along, During the Boxer rebellion Russia joined the Eight-Nation Alliance against China, siding with their fellow Europeans, Russia also contested Manchuria along side the Japanese, who would win the conflict, making Manchuria a puppet. Even after the rise of the Soviets and their part in helping the PRC conquer the rest of mainland China, they still had the falling out of the Sino-soveit split where their relations were greatly strained

As a Bosnian American, I believe that modern day Yugoslavia looks extremely weak compared to it's past. Most of that population is retirees while the young people move to Germany and benefit the German economy. And with the 9k gdp per capita, I doubt Croats and Slovenes would drop their standard of living to be brought down by Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and North Macedonia. And comparing your military to Nigeria (no offense towards Nigerians) in spending is not a good outlook to compare to your neighbors of Germany, Italy and Russia. Those three alone would swallow Yugoslavia. Therefore, NO modern day Yugoslavia would not survive.

The South American union (UNASUR) collapsed because other nations on the continent didn't like the influence of Nicolás Maduro and so they opted to form a new right-wing alternative by former Chilean president Sebastián Piñera and former Colombian president Iván Duque called the Forum for the Progress and Integration of South America (or PROSUR). All of South America joined except for Guyana, Suriname, Bolivia, and of course Venezuela. The irony with Chile and Colombia forming this is Chile withdrawn from the initiative after leftist president Gabriel Boric was elected. And now that Colombia has leftist president Gustavo Petro, the country will too, leave PROSUR.
There's also a South American trade bloc called Mercosur with Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Brazil as full members and Bolivia, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Guyana, Ecuador, and Suriname. Venezuela used to be a full member but was suspended in 2016.

As a non-American, I was really puzzled by the date system you used until I realized that the US puts the month before the day. Idk seems inefficient but what can you say to a country who still uses the imperial system with random numbers rather than the very simple metric system with just multiples of 10.

      Would trigger collas.
Would be better to make new cities or a capital for each region.
      Buenos Aires in south.
      Lima in Northwest
      Rio de Janeiro in East.
      That would be freaking epic.

@David Garcia Catalonia def no. No country supports it, especially not the west who are all allies of Spain. The same for Quebec, Texas and California.
