  • Easy Underglow Install for your Tesla Model Y! Suzco Underglow installation on a Tesla Model Y. This video goes through 3 main techniques: 1) How to get through the Tesla firewall, 2) How to power your accessories by installing a switch, and 3) How to go through the frunk to access underneath the car. I hope this helps so you can install an underglow to your Tesla.
Hide your wires with a clean install. And don't plug it into your 12V socket. Hardwire it to a switch so you can turn it on and off.
Don't void your warranty by connecting it to the 12V battery or the wrong wires. Better yet, put it on a switch and a fuse.

I’m gonna be installing a train horn in my frunk and put an air compressor in the trunk. I’ve been looking for ways to route the air line into the frunk and this video helped me! Thanks!

The Tesla firewall can be a bit intimidating, but this video does a great job of explaining how to navigate it.

Great tip on using a fuse tap to connect the underglow to the accessory power! That's definitely going to make things easier.

All I needed was the firewall hole. Why wouldn't you connect to the 12v under the hood instead of at the power module? You could make an independent circuit with a fuse at the battery. Seems like you took the long road. And how you getting to the fuse in the console if it blows, plus an unnecessary extra under the hood? One at the power connection is enough. Easy removal later. Bonus; your key never gets disconnected.

Hey! I got a question, can I still use the 12v accessory plug after installing it?

Also what fuse do you use?

yes, that's the point. My 12v accessory plug is always available for something else. But for many people, the radar detector takes away that spot. I don't like that. I want it open for any random thing.

I usually use a 10A fuse. it's good for most things on the Tesla
