I just want to comment my brother was killed on his motorcycle in July 83. We saw this concert in Altlanta 2 mos before he passed. The ticket stubs are still in his wallet. God I miss him and what a sweet birthday gift him taking his little sister for her birthday❤❤❤❤to see Bob Seger. The t- shirt i wore out until it disinegrated
One of the great rock lyric ists who never got enough credit. Most of his songs tell a complete story with a beginning, middle and end. I always thought the songs Night Moves, Hollywood Nights, Manhattan, and Roll Me Away could be outlines for movie scripts.
I saw him back in the 70's when I was a teenager. And I've seen MANY live performances since. But Seger, along with a select few others, remains right up there as putting on the best live performances I've had the pleasure of attending. And that's saying a lot for the simple fact that technology wasn't what it is today. And the segue between Travelin Man & Beautiful Loser is brilliant and one of the best I've heard. It's absolutely seemless. Not an easy thing to do. One of the greats!

Oh the memories! I saw him perform this (my 1st rock show) in December 1978 in Toledo, OH at the old sports arena. And he looked and sounded like this! My 2 best friends and myself all attended U of Toledo but were on winter break and at our parents home about 40 miles south of Toledo. It was snowing pretty hard and our parents told us no way we were driving to a rock concert! Haaaaa! We snuck out and went. It was worth getting yelled at by our parents to see Seger! And he ALWAYS performed in Toledo thru the years when other rock acts blew Toledo off! ❤ I always thought this song seemed about an old girlfriend . 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ I always played this song when a longtime boyfriend of mine would break up with me- then we’d get back together &again break up! He never changed ! I finely wised up and moved on. Ha! Ha’😊
