Wow, a full tutorial! I'm just getting ready to make my first Mica, so I'm super grateful for these step-by-step instructions.
Have fun!
Judith is THE BEST! I consider myself an experienced sewist and I always learn something new, a tip or trick when watching Judith.
She really is!
I am so happy with my Mica Dress. Just putting the buttons and hemming now. This tutorial was so helpful. Merci, Judith.
You are so welcome!
It was such a great addition to crew membership to have this sewalong. Please consider doing these more often as they are really useful 😊
That's great to hear! We do plan on doing them for more complex projects :)
An excellent tutorial, very nicely explained! This is not a pattern, it is a masterpiece!
Thank you very much!
Ooh, you sneaked this ahead of time! Very pretty! Maybe the snow will be gone before I get this made!❤
Thanks so much for a wonderful tutorial, you took your time and it wasn't rushed, which is appreciated 🙂👍🏻
Glad it was helpful!
How can you combine a size 44 bottom to 40 top?
You would grade between them! There is a bodice fitting guide as well as a grading guide for Mica when you sign up for Crew for this month
Do you mean " understitch"?
Yes I meant to say understitch and kept on saying topstitch 😂
Exactly!
I've watched it over and over again and I can't understand how you're doing the burrito method. The fabric is too close to the bottom of the screen to see exactly what's going on.
I'm also trying to figure out how this works. The video shows something different than the instructions and it's not 100% clear what the starting position of the fabric is when you flip it and how you roll it into a burrito
