Honestly, this is such a great tutorial. I have my own way of doing this that usually works (including the stabilizer) but with a 12-button placket with the buttons being the feature of the dress I did not want to wing it. Literally every question I had was answered here clearly and succinctly. Well done. Thank you.
I can sew pretty well, but really like to keep watching sewing tutorials- there is often something new to learn! Lovely tutorial and I really like that you showed clear contrasting cotton. (I have to admit to never machine sewing buttons! )
Great tutorial. I only just learnt the trick of sticking the button in place. Game changer. I noticed that you didn’t mention dropping the dog feed when sewing on the button. But I think this is good to know.
I've always been afraid to do button holes but this makes me feel more confident about it!
yay!
This was great- I've always agonized getting the buttons/buttonholes in the right spot so your tips bring some clarity to the process!
Glad it helped!
Brilliant idea using scotch tape, no more swearing in the sewing room 😂

This was helpful Thank you!
I'm so glad!
Great tips! I’ve also used a glue stick to place a little glue on the back of the button for machine stitching and that really helped.
Great tip!
