Mimir knew the answer but he pretended to not know it so not to crush his spirit and to make brok feel a bit superior At least that's how I interpreted it
@@rubyrose9596 No... Mimir genuinely didn't know the answer. That's why he kept trying to figure it out throughout the game with Kratos, even when Brok wasn't around.
I still remember how you two didn't trust Brok and Sindri throughout most of God of War 2018, when you were watching stuff for that. Lol. And to seeing you two having grown to like, enjoy, and appreciate these two wonderful characters is honestly amazing, and interesting to see as well.
Sindri's look and stifiled sob at Kratos just breaks you every time, and i've seen this part of the game a dozen times. All that emotion that he doesn't know what to do with, the look that says he knows Kratos and Atreus aren't the bad guys but he doesn't know where to direct the blame and guilt. The developers stated Sindri's arc in this game was based around the story of the Giving Tree, the short of it is, once there was a tree that loved a little boy. It gave him apples from its branches and let him slide down its trunk, but as the boy grew older he began asking more and more from the tree, and the tree in its love just kept giving and giving, until eventually it had nothing left of itself at all. Sindri was very similar to this, his inability to let go and say no, or stand up for himself led him to where he is now, a completely broken man
Should definitely see the quest to try and find the real Tyr post game, especially before seeing anything from the Valhalla dlc, since it builds off that
I heard that riddle back in 2013 that Bork have said, I waited for Mimir's answer but it was too late, and I didn't imagine it would hit so deep in our hearts.
Basically the epilogue of the main game. Hope you see some of the other post game side missions. Such as Gna the new Valkyrie Queen and what happened with Tyr, the real one that is.
I mentioned a bit about this in an earlier video, but without spoiling it. So, the theme song for the dwarf brothers is a remixed version of the Svartelfheim theme song, and they remixed the Huldra Brothers theme to make the funeral song. Beautiful bit of continuity on the music department's part.
You should definitely watch the post-game content located in Niflheim, Muspelheim, and one short scene in Alfheim. All these post-game things are crucial to the story. Also, the berserker fights. You could do all these in one video since they are not really long scenes, but they are important. Especially crucial to the story of the Valhalla DLC is the NIflheim and Alfheim post-game content
I relate to Sindri having dealt with people taking and not giving. Now I live alone and have no friend in person. I used to be the only kid in school who acted like a kid. As time went on I was bullied, labeled, neglected and even abused. My dad was very strict and controlling and my teachers were not helping a bullied student. Now I remain a depressed adult who just stays home all day.
Tha look Sindri gave to Kratos is Sindri realising that his anger should not be directed to Kratos.. Also this scene is my favorite from video games along side Vesemir's funeral scene from The Witcher.
For 1/2 second I always think Sindri is going to hit Kratos every time he places his hand on his shoulder. Sindri is by far my favorite character of these two games. The character development is pretty insane even if it means he's emotionally destroyed by the end of this game.
The craters lore is worth watching, beserkers, gna, desert of alfheim (thrud), valhalla and so mony other little things they added. SMS put so much love into this game for all of us to enjoy. I'm sure the others have pointed you in the right direction to not miss anything ^_^
There’s still more post game stuff you guys need to do before Valhalla there’s a certain person you guys need to find look the videos up I don’t wanna spoil nothing
Yay congrats on finishing Ragnarok. I high recommend checking out a video on the epilogue side content as they have important story bits for the franchise going forward. Also definitely watch it before watching any of the Valhalla story content as you will be confused on a certain character appearing in Valhalla if you go straight into it.
During Brok's Funeral, i had an idea on what the answer to his riddle was, and Mimir and the music was so beautiful and sad i had to stand up and did the "Attack on Titan" Salute at 4:50 plus Kratos knows exactly what it feels like to lose a brother "TWICE" . 5:11- 5:57"If I die, Do not cry, Just look towards, And say goodbye" also i revised Brok's riddle "I am created when irreplaceable is taken and i get bigger the more it's gone what am I?" 6:47 Mimir: A Hole. When Mimir mentioned the riddle, i realized how bad it was.
There are another videos with Thor's hammer, the aesir in vanaheim, the defeat of Gna, Sindri's house, Hraesvelgr and Tyr's real prison. And about the cut content.
There is still more to see before the Valhalla btw, visiting the girl with Fenrir and Atreus in Ironwood, what happened to the world serpent disappearing after Ragnarok and to Ragnarok's mourning wife, Thrud taking and using Thor's hammer, real Tyr being found as for some examples.
Im glad they didn't go the predictable route of forgiveness. Sindri has so much hate for both Atreus and Kratos still, and at the same time he knows he fucked up too. Because of him Brok has no soul and no afterlife. Was already mentioned though.
In regards to Sindri not wanting to be involved...that may possibly be the case but I don't think so. In the first game he immediately offers to improve the Axe and befriends Atreus/Kratos. He also helped Atreus behind Kratos' back and seemed to be doing so willingly. I think he was just looking for someone to blame during his grief.
It’s worse when you realize Santa Monica made this game to end the Norse era because they didn’t want to spend so long on an era. And Cory Barlog posted himself on Twitter under emotional distress. This is definitely a symbol of what Sony is doing to Santa Monica.
God of war ragnarok Valhalla can't be done until you complete a specific post ragnarok side story mission in Nifelheim. Otherwise, you will be spoiled to a specific plot element revealed after ragnarok, but before Valhalla. Also, you should also learn about the mystery of the frozen lightning bolt in Vanaheim.
I loved seeing y'all go on this ride. Y'all really need to check out The Last of Us. Its very different from GoW, but it's the series that broke new ground in video game storytelling and was the inspiration for GoW to go down thos kind of route that these past 2 Norse games have followed.
Before you start, Valhalla, there are a few cut scenes. You should watch before starting it. Especially during the epilogue basically finding the last Valkyrie Queen and encountering, a familiar face will not spoil you will encounter him when Kratos is hunting down the remnants of Asgard. There is a secret in neifelheim.
Hey, you mentioned you were going to play this. The person playing never did it, but when you're Realm Traveling, try going to the edge when Kratos & Atreus jumped off to find the lost Jotunheim Tower a few times. There's funny dialogs when you do.
I must encourage before seeing any valhalla footage, please watch the real ending from this game, just like the late Billy mays used to say, "BUT WAIT, THERES MORE!"
So while I don’t think that if Atreus gets a dlc or his own game that Sindri should be a villain, because he doesn’t have the power and I don’t think he absolutely hates them that much, I do think that whenever he shows up again, he should still never want to see whoever he encounters again.
The game developers didnt haver to put brok's funeral in the game. But Just the face of putting It, Just show How commited they were with the characters
Great reaction, but the Mrs. was hard to hear and I was using headphones. Any way she could speak up just a touch to around your voice level, or move the mic closer to her just a tad so we get the same volume level from you both? She has a interest take on it during the video and the discussions, and it'd be nice to hear her clearly. It's the same on your RDR2 videos too, which I just started, and y'all differ a little bit on what is or isn't right or wrong in the game (cool to hear both perspectives).
I did not play the game, but I watched jacksepticeye play it, and the funeral did hurt.😢 On a side note. Personally I think you should watch more ragnarok before moving to Valhalla. Because kratos finds Thrud with Thors hammer and finds the real Tyre Throughout the realms, and they talk a little... I just remember a few days late. You also continuing the game. Find out why there is a second frozen lightning. Cause if you remember thor said that his fight with kratos felt familiar
Ima be honest, the post game feels kinda meh without brok being there, he and mimirr were easily my favorite characters. There is a post game secret if u wanna look it up though.
I really don't think that Sindri Will become a villain, maybe he Will Just be like Kratos before he became the God of war. a sad character, a corrupted One,frustated, tired, arrogant and desperated. He gave everything but he lose It Just like Kratos that he gave everything at Ares and then he Lost his family
Sorry, but I don't get why you keep leaving spoilers around every single time😢😢.. you lot keep spoiling the game for me whenever I open CZcams, and I'm playing the game currently..can you maybe do something about the titles?
I believe Sindri just needs time to mourn for a bit....no matter how long it will take till he us ready to forgive or be forgiven with himself for bringing his brother back the first time to only die a 2nd time.....
Mimir solving Brok’s riddle hits right in the feels

It's my favorite riddle, too. I was so happy when Brokk asked it, and I was excited for Mimir to get it. Instead, it broke me.
This is how you properly say goodbye to a games character shows how much Santa Monica even loved Brok
They put a lot of heart into this game.
He's not just dirty, he's gloveless and still covered in Brok's blood from that day. He is absolutely broken by this 🥺😥
This was truly heart breaking
No. I heard from another commenter that if your broken you can be fixed. Sindri is completely defeated.
@@ktmmatt7243broken things can be fixed, but crushed things? I’m not so sure. And Sindri is absolutely crushed.
@@icankickflipok I agree. Crushed and defeated. There are rumors saying he could be the next "bad guy" in the following game, if they go that route.
I met the actor who played Brok at a convention. He could not have been more down-to-Earth. Sweet dude. Same with the guy who played Sindri.
I still remember how you two didn't trust Brok and Sindri throughout most of God of War 2018, when you were watching stuff for that. Lol. And to seeing you two having grown to like, enjoy, and appreciate these two wonderful characters is honestly amazing, and interesting to see as well.

Brok was kratos' first friend in hundreds of years, the only real friend that didnt betray kratos in the original games is orcos from gow ascension
Glad to hear you'll be starting on Valhalla. 👍🏿
Mimir finally figuring out the answer to the riddle Brok told when they were getting draupnier is gold writing. Right in the feels.
