- Alexander Ludwig & Katheryn Winnick chat with Noah about the finale season of 'Vikings' and how they hope the fans will remember the show and characters along with touching on how it's been an honor to be part of a show that has become a fan favorite. Alexander & Katheryn share their holiday plans for the 2019 year. Season six returns following the battle between brothers which has left Bjorn (Ludwig) victorious and a hero to the people who have been under the tyrannical rule of Ivar for so long. As the new leader of Kattegat, Bjorn struggles to fill his late father’s shoes as king, while facing several dilemmas and wrestling with the idea that power overshadows morals. Meanwhile, Lagertha (Winnick) has her own agenda -to live a quieter and less public life on her own farm, but new dangers lurk close to home. #Vikings #AlexanderLudwig #KatherynWinnick
The 20-episode sixth season will air in two parts, beginning with a two-hour premiere on Wednesday, December 4 at 9PM ET/PT followed by eight episodes airing every Wednesday at 10PM ET/PT on HISTORY. The remaining ten episodes of season six are slated to air in 2020. Additionally, series regular Katheryn Winnick is set to helm one episode in season six, marking her directorial debut.

I like when Alexander talks about how younger kids look up to him. I was 16 when Vikings first started, so yeah I was one of those kids who was just blown away by this show.

Vikings... It is and it will always be the best Series in the whole world... That is why it goes from little villages to big cities... Spreading in every single country... Not only is it because of the plot but most importantly the great actors and actresses... The chemistry among all of them is unique... For sure it was pretty sad to see Ragnar leaving but the whole cast manage to make us feel that the story goes on and it has more surprises...

The opening is so good for every episode I have to watch it again and again. The scene looking up from below the boats with weapons and bodies drifting down along with the music is mesmerizing. Winnick and Sutherland are goddesses. Michael Hirst has done a splendid job, a work of art.
My life is over when this series ends, such a great show

Katheryn Winnick is great inspiration for my kids. My son 9 and daughter 6 take Tae Kwon Do and I thought Kathryn was already cool for her TaeKwonDo experience and leadership using on film etc. And now we can add in admiration she directed in Vikings. Looking forward for sharing this with my kids. Tae Kwon Do has been great for them in numerous ways
