HISTORY, I will watch it! 😊 I had really enjoyed watching season 1. I love the sword fights with Sir Landry, and the interaction between Sir Landry and Queen Joan. I also liked the backstory and character scenes involving Sir Landry, it was all very interesting. I have now seen episode 1 of season 2, and I am looking forward to seeing more of Sir Landry's journey. Landry's sword and fighting skills are fascinating and incredibly sharp. He is a great character to study. 🙂

Love the amount of questions for michael hirst. An actual panel interested in the show and the history, not just some fans about 1 person
Vikings and GOT make television worth watching. They don't need to be pitted against each other. Both are epic and have raised the bar for small screen viewing. I love the love and friendship this cast so obviously has for each other. They seem like down to earth people who haven't let the popularity of the show get to their heads which is awesome. You can tell they truly love what they are doing :)
when these people turn their love to passion, it shows on the screen and therefore, the audience is truly grasped by the show. You really don't see that allot, even from big blockbuster movies not called Avengers.

Yes. It's disappointing because I am a big GoT fan and the panel just didn't do much for the fans. It makes me really appreciate this one.

Aw, Travis misses George. There are probably a number of reasons why he misses him, but I'm sure the number one reason is he's lost his favorite prank victim. Love this cast.

Can't deny she has a hot body, but even then it's not that above average. And it's a fact camera and make up can do wonders and alter the perception of the viewer. Depending of the camera angle a small thing can be big...

One of the best panels I've seen so far. You could feel a mutual connection and chemistry between the fans and the cast. Also I appreciate the quality of the answers from the cast.

I've only recently become a fan in Oz. The script, actors and scale of production is fantastic. Love Ragnar, Rollo, Lagertha and Bjorn, and Loki. Terribly miss Atlelsan, loved Ragnar and their relationship. Travis is one of a kind, love his acting style. So happy to have stumbled accross this show. It's so intriguing and interesting history. Long live the VIKINGS.....
Why isn't Linus Roache ( King Eckbert) there? Brilliant actor who portrays one of the most interesting characters, IMO, on the show.

I love the insights in to how scenes are created and shot. I know nothing about filming and I'm intrigued by it.

To be honest, GoT has gone downhill since season 3, but Vikings are better every new season! The no1 show on TV, dont care what view numbers are saying- quality counts! Vikings clearly have the best writing team. No boring episodes and yet they manage to develop every character. That cant be said about GoT. This seasons 3 first episodes were so bad... :/

They're stretching the story too much with Got and they add way too much elongated dialogues that bring nothing to the story.
I keep watching only because I want to see the end of that freakin thing but with most of my favorite characters (good and bad) already gone I find many episodes to be a real pain in the....beeeeeeepppp!

Further more, the best characters that are dead were played by the best actors in the show + the wall is a joke when you only need to navigate south of it on either side East or West, there's plenty of trees but the Wildings were too stupid to built simple rafts.

Having decent actors does not make pointless dialogues better. In the first seasons they had fantastic lines but since season 3...
The wall is only 1 or 2 kilometers thick, That's nothing to navigate by and when the water freezes during cold months you just have to walk, I'm Canadian I know what cold weather does to water, we need icebreakers to keep our boats going. Anyway if the wildings can align and attach together big piece of logs and build a tall protective wall around their fort as we saw last season then they could have built big rafts, for theses walls are literally "standing rafts" ! Most of the Pacific islands have been colonized by Polynesians on board simple rafts with no navigating tools and we're talking about thousands of kilometers of open seas.
Any good leader would know the open sea is less risky than the wall. Be realistic man if you have access to the sea you can go anywhere unless you're a zombie.
And beside wildings should be sea people, in a permanent winter condition there's no agriculture possible and there's not enough wildlife inland to feed everybody, no greens, no preys, no predators, like the Inuits of Canada they would only survive by fishing and hunting seals and whales. Now if they have summers North of the wall then the wall should not even exists, like a glacier it would melt over the years from bottom up until crashing down on its own weight.
Now that is my last comment :)
Vikings is such a great show, solid storytelling costumes and great acting.

My cousin who recently passed was the one who discovered the vikings in Sops Arm Newfoundland. He quite his job as a teacher to future discover it and open up a museum. His name is Kent Budded and he also wrote a book about it. My mother said he also traced the vikings back to our family blood line. ( not to sure if that is true) if so it's pretty interesting.

Brilliant show. They should also have several episodes showing the Vikings invading Ireland and setting up what would become the city of Dublin. The show itself is filmed in Ireland.
